My husband talked with a representative on the phone regarding switching to Direct from Dish. He was told that the monthy bill would be approx 52.99 for 1 year and then 95.00 for the following year. ( 2 year contract). Our bill keeps going up, he called them last night and now they have no recollection of our agreement, Our bill is now 127.21. They cannot explain why our first bill was 69.23 total with tax. Also they are now charging us another three dollars for equipment insurance we didn't ask for, but they told us that if we didn't have it and a technician had to come out and fix THEIR equipment we would be charged 45.00. The monthly charge keeps going up little by little, Nov. it was correct as the total bill is 69.23, then in Dec. just the monthly package went up to 70.99, then in March is went up again to 74.99. They keep sneaking in all these little increases and add ons to the bill. And now we are stuck with this 2 year contract, cause if we cancel because they haven't kept their part of the contract, they want us to pay 400.00!!!!!

All I want is Direct to stick to the original agreement they offered. Stop increasing it little by little or let us out of our contract.
We want to pay the agreed 52.00 a month and with all the other "charges" have our bill back to 69.23 (unless we rent a movie), and then the bill will increase to 95.00 for the second year.
