I had service with Verizon wireless for approximately two years. When I upgraded to one of their new 4g phones they turned my unlimited data package off. I was told that when they turned it off that there was no way of ever turning it back on again. I was one of the customers grandfathered into unlimited data when they decided to tier their data. I decided to cancel my contract with them after they did this as I felt they had breached their contract with me. I owed them a total of five hundred dollars for cancellation and all of that crap. I was making payments on this account (was not going to fork over 500 bucks all at once to a company which took advantage of me and tried to swindle me. I made the last payment of 288 to them a week ago to totally clear up the debt owed. Come to find out today when checking my credit report that they put the collection account on my reports today a week after fully paid. I was happy with Verizon at first but quickly came to find out how much of a bad company and ow shady they are.
I would like Verizon wireless to take the collection account off equifax experian and transunion as the debt had already been paid in full before they even posted this credit ruining collection on my credit reports.
