Coke Zero Underweight Cans
by Stephen S. - Posted Fri May 4, 2012 @ 11:08 PM

Over the past year I have experienced numerous cans of Coke Zero that are of various levels of fullness. That is they have lost liquid while being stored for several months or they are not being properly filled. I have not experienced this with Diet Coke. The liquid apparently is lost to evaporation through a leak. I have not seen anything obviously wrong with the can nor do I see liquid or stain in the case. This has happened to me with at least half a dozen cases. Half the cans in a 12 pack that I was using this week were way underweight. I still have the offending cans.

First solve the problem. I can't believe that I alone have had this problem since the cases were not of the same packing lot.

Second a coupon for several cases to replace the losses I've had would be nice.

Third having working in food manufacturing, I'd like to know what the problem is and why it seems to occur only with Zero.
