Maytag sucks!

It's really frustrating when you spend hard-earned money on a product, and then this happens. I'm referring to the customer service with Maytag Corporation and I'm hoping you can do something about it. Frankly, I'm furious over this matter.

For the record, I own a Neptune from your company.

On February 9th, 2004 Eric in customer service responded to my letter of complaint about my Neptune washing machine. He offererd to send me a $350 credit toward the purchase of a new appliance. It was agreed he would send e-mail confirmation that day. I have recieved nothing. I have called and left several messages but get no response. I could wait no longer and have purchased a new washing machine.

Here's what I'd like to see happen: Pay for my new washing machine I really hope you can solve this, because it will determine whether I buy anything else from you in the future. You can be sure I'll probably give my friends mediocre reviews of your products.

Please respond to this complaint as quickly as possible.

YES, MAYTAGS DO SUCK AND SO DOES THEIR INTERNAL STRUCTURE!!!!!!!!
I HAVE A FRIDGE, MODEL MSD2756GEW, WHERE THE ICE / WATER DISPENSING
DOOR IS, THERE IS RUST BUILDING UP AND CAUSING A NASTY LOOK TO THE
FRIDGE. BESIDES THAT RUST AS YO UKNOW CAN CAUSE TETANUS INFECTION THAT
COULD LEAD TO DEATH. SO WHAT DOES MAYTAG DO? NOTHING!!
CALLS TO THEM, HOURS ON HOLD, SERVICE MEN TO THE HOUSE THAT STATE THAT
ALL MAYTAG FRIDGES DO THAT! REALLY NICE!!!!! AS STATED, PILES OF
CRAP!!!!!!!!! SO BACK TO CALLING AND GETTING NO WHERE. NOW IT'S THE
BBB ( THE BBB DOESN'T DO CRAP EITHER ) BUT IT'S A NOTED DOCUMENT AND A
LETTE RTO JEFF FETTIG, MAYTAGS CEO. LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS NOW. I ALSO
SENT A EMAIL TO THE NEWS CHANNEL, NEXT WILL BE TO CONSUMER REPORTS, AS
MANY POSTINGS AS I CAN GET, AND LAST WILL BE TO THE ATTORNEYS THAT
DEALT WITH MAYTAG AND THEIR CRAPPY WASHING MACHINES. PERHAPS ANOTHER
CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT......IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR FRIDGE....
PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND LETS SUE
MAYTAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, i have same problem with my maytag side by side ( same model
number) I called repeatedly about it no one could help me apparently
its a big MAYTAG mystery as to why it rust, of course the service man
couldnt deny it he told me "they all do it" and when i wrote to
complaint dept i got a response telling me to take it to a BODYSHOP
like for cars...where they can refinish it, what kind of professional
gives that advice ???

where are they hiring these people with their ignorant and
condescending attitudes?seems they just say whatever with nothing to
back it up. and if you dont like it they put you on hold for 30
minutes and keep passing the buck. i am at my witts end dealing with
idiots

its disgusting i will never purchase another MAYTAG product in my
life.

I'm having problems with the water and ice dispencer along with all
the buttons with my fridge. I bought it a year ago. This happened 3
weeks after my warranty was up and maytag won't cut me a deal, they
want us to pay 90.00 just for the repairman's visit and then 20.00 for
every 15 min that he is here. So we tried to get the extended warranty
but they said they cannot give it to us until this problem is dealt
with.

I've dedcided to call my own repair guy who says that maytag is not
willing to help him diagnois the problem but eventually did and
apparently the problem was the relay in the back (which shouldn't be
happening to a fridge that is only a year old) so he ordered the part
and in that box there was no instructions on how to reset the fridge.
Now the water and the ice are dispensing but not from there original
buttons, when I press the temp controls - is H20 and + is ice.

Now, my freezer is not working and a fan is just blowing in the fridge
but it's not keeping things cold. We cannot adjust the temperature and
there is not temperture reading it just says PE0 000.Last week maytag
decides to send me a letter in the mail to advertise buying extended
warrany, 2 months after my warranty was up....why now? Why not a month
prior to the original expiration date. I'm really frustrated with
maytag and their services and will never again buy their products or
recommend them to anybody.
