I hate people who think they are better/smarter then others because
they have been or are curently going to college. Just because you
decided to go to college does not mean you are smarter then me and the
fact that you throw it in my face simply means that you only went to
TRY to prove you are smarter. I chose not to go to college right away
because to me helping my family was more important. How does that make
you ANY smarter or better then me?

Some people are cut out for college and know it would be a waste of
money and time. That does NOT make you ANY better or smarter then them
just because you went to college. Some people are just so full of
themselves that their way is the only way and you are wrong or stupid
if you don't agree with them.

There is so much more I could say on this but for now I will finish
with this final note. Please realize when you are reading this that
I'm not against going to college or anything. I am only against the
people who THINK that going to college is what everybody has to do or
that going to college makes you better or smarter then anyone who
hasn't.

Well, I know that we are probably different personalities but I surely
would tell my grandmother that her smoking in my personal space is
something that doesn't sit well with me. And believe me, my
grandmother was nothing close to the "nice little old lady" I wish to
be when I grow old. She was a grumpy old lady (though she had her
reasons and I loved her dearly) but I never went a day without telling
her how I felt. I always had to give her a hypothetical situation to
relate to though. So, if it were my grandmother I was going to say
something to it would go something like this:

Oma, I don't know if you realize it but your smoking in my car/home is
really very upsetting to me. It would be like me spraying your home
with Rose scented perfume (she HATED the smell of Rose Perfume) and
you being able to do nothing about it. I wouldn't do that to you
because I respect you and your space, I'm simply asking that you do
the same for me.

Typically, when I said something like that to her it nipped the
problem right in the bud. But, there were times where she said "I
don't give a crap what you want, tough s*%#!" Yep, good old Oma!

I told my grandmother I didn't like her smoking in my car it went
something like this....

Me:mamaw I don't like you smoking in my car. Would you please quit.

Mamaw: Why is everyone out to get me? If you didn't want me to come
down you could have just told me! I can't believe you are taking your
mothers side over mine. Fine then have it your way. This is what I get
for trying to help you and give you my car for free. I'M GOING
HOME!!!!!

Me: HUH?????

She left and didn't talk to us for a week. The next time she came up
she STILL smoked in my car.

Why is it that people feel they have to be jerks to get their point
across? If you act like an @ss to me, I will act like one right back
at you. What comes around goes around. The question still remains
though. Why do you feel you have to be an @ss in the first place?

Also, why do you have to point out every single spelling mistake that
people make when it doesn't even matter. Obviously you knew what was
being said. Even if you didn't, you don't have to point it out by
saying someone is stupid because of it.

Then there is the fact that these same people get mad when someone
points out their mistakes. I just don't understand some of the idiots
on this site.

Hi everyone. No great words of wisdom or really anything interesting
here so if that's what your looking for don't bother reading any
further. As you may have guessed from my nickname, I love poetry. I
have several books of poetry that I read quiet often but I also write
poetry. No I don't have any published. Curently I have only let a few
close friends and my boyfriend read any of the ones I wrote. I'm very
shy in person but feel that I can be more open on the internet so you
