FedEx Kinko's Staff Are Dumber Than a Box of Rocks
Posted Mon June 5, 2006 11:47 pm, by Ann S. written to Kinko's, Inc.
Write a Letter to this Company
Staff doesn't know about their own faxes.
I had to fax a very important, very time sensitive document. The number I was faxing to does not accept blocked numbers (number must show up on caller id or it is rejected).
Since the numbers where I worked were blocked, I went to the closest place to fax, which happened to be FedEx Kinko's.
Your staff is so stupid that they can't even tell if the number is blocked or not. I wasted an entire lunch hour driving around finding an unblocked fax number to send.
Retrain your staff to know whether or not the numbers are blocked. What if other people have time sensitive documents to send and can't? You would be responsible.

Dear Douchebag, it is not kinko's responsibilty to make sure the person on the other line gets the fax. Also, Ann S. Douchebag, fax numbers aren't restricted, that would be impossible, only regular phone lines can be opted to be restricted. So, you obviously dialed the wrong number, stop being a rude douchebag to everyone who is telling you the same thing as i'm tell you. and please realize that in today's world YOU MUST THINK FOR YOURSELF and stop thinking you're going to get whatever you want because you're a customer who probably wants to spend less than a dollar, have a nice day Fugly

I gotta tell you, the fax service is not Kinko's biggest money maker. So, not a lot of time spent training employees on it. Also, it's the easiest thing to use. So easy in fact, that many stores put it in the Self-Serve section. You type in the number, put your paper in, and hit the green button. Anything that happens after that point is NOT Kinko's responsibility.
People never understand this though and will constantly bug you if the fax didn't get through. And there are many possible reasons why it didn't go through, including being blocked. Again, that's not the store's responsibility. Buy a fax machine, or a printer capable of faxing for your home PC if you have a problem with this.

Insults, how wonderful.
You are truely one rude person. I think what you should do is go down to the Fed Ex office & fill out an application, show them how it's done.
You make me happy that my customer service days are over with, & I no longer have to deal with people like yourself.
A few parting words of advice: grow up & get over yourself.

Ah der,
Why didn't you send the fax, then call the person receiving it to see if it had gone through?
I'm still trying to figure out how Kinko's would be responsible if someone couldn't recieve a fax....

You know what? You losers weren't there to see the retarded 'Durr, we dont know nuffin' looks on their faces. You would think I asked them a question like 'who was the first nobel prize winner'. It was classic deer in the headlights in terms of looks.
And you losers are so know it alls. Like you all just sit an comment on letters all day. Do you have any freakin' lives? Maybe you need to get jobs and not waste anymore welfare money.
At least I work for a living. What's your lazy-azz excuse? Losers.

The staff didn't know the answer to a question. You "wasted an entire lunch hour driving around finding an unblocked fax number to send." Who's stupid again?
I feel sure that there is a disclaimer posted somewhere at Kinko's that says something like, "Fed-Ex Kinko's can not be held responsible for any loss of revenue or damages..." etc. It is highly unlikely that they would be responsible for a time-sensitive document not getting where it was supposed to.
I would feel badly for you, except that you letter is so mean-spirited. Getting something faxed on time is your responsibility, not theirs. I have no sympathy.

Oh, look. An online temper tantrum.
Now if I was out in public and I saw a five-year-old child throwing himself on the floor, screaming at the top of her lungs with tears and snot running down her face, I'd probably just look the other way and mind my business in the hopes that the little brat's mother would scoop her up off the ground and hustle her out the door. So that's what I'm going to do here too.

They wouldn't be responsible for anything. Either the fax goes through or it doesn't. If it doesn't go through it is NOT Kinko's responsbility! I hate when customers come in and expect me to wave a magic wand and make their fax go through. I don't work at Kinkos but I do work in a copy department. Here's a surprise; I don't pay the phone bills. I don't know if we block our number or not. Go ahead, call me stupid!
It isn't their fault you wasted time driving around. Sorry but you are the only stupid one. You should have called first.
People always seem to need to fax these VERY important, time sensative documents at the last minute. It's always our fault when there is no fax machine on or the number is busy.
Also, what help does sending an insulting letter do?
