Just go bring them into the bank with your ID showing the correct spelling if that is where you ordered them from. It should speak for itself unless you filled out the form by hand and misspelled it by accident.

You need to provide them with some details. You're not going to get any help without them.

Rather than write a letter that is probably not going to be read and more than likely put in the circular file, you need to either call the bank or go in and get these issues resolved in person.
Let me give you a little lesson in banking:
It takes 7-10 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, exculding holidays. So, if you opened your bank account on June 1st, you should get your card anytime between the 12th and the 14th. In other words, you need to learn to practice patience. The bank does not have a magic wand that will make the card appear out of thin air with your info.
Add to that you will probably get a pin assigned to this card, so unless it is a check card, you won't be able to use it anyway except as as Visa/Mastercard (whatever the bank prefers).
As for the checks, again, you will need to return to the bank and have that corrected. Take the checks with you so that they can destroy them for you. Or if you have a shredder or know someone who does, shred them.
Over all, you need to have patience. Let this be a lesson in it and you will have a much longer life.

I can certainly understand your frustration - I went through something similar myself. But do you really think that this letter, with so little detail as to how long you waited, and with the inflammatory title "pissed", is really the best way to achieve results?

My problem was the opposite (different bank, of course) - I had to wait forever to get my checks (woman at the bank said she'd order them for me; she forgot - I had to call customer service several times before I finally got them). My check card, I was told, would take 10-14 business days (fortunately, it came a lot faster), so that is pretty standard. The only thing that really irritated me was when I somehow managed to lose that card and when I called they said they'd issue a new one ASAP (with my bank, though, I was impressed that they had someone to help me, even though it was a holiday weekend). Turned out that what the procedure REALLY was that I had to go into the bank and fill out paperwork for a new card (I found that out when I went in to make a withdrawal).
Anyway, I agree with Brightie - no one is going to give anything more than a passing glance (and, very possibly, a hearty chuckle) at a letter entitled "pissed" with no pertinent information (not to mention horrid writing).
