I don't think that Nestle is too consumer friendly. I had bought 2.5 gallons of bottled water since I live in earthquake country and they leaked all over my carpet, floor, and ruined the leg of an antique cedar chest. I notified them and all I was told was that I would have to CALL them! Why? I gave complete details and the lot number. All I wanted was my money refunded on the water that was lost, not the replacement for my carpet that molded and the ruined leg of the cedar chest! I feel for you, I truely do!

They don't produce candy with only you in mind. They're trying to make money by selling it to anyone with enough dough to purchase it. Individual is not a word they give a crap about. I'd suggeat you shut up and go buy another box - but at least stop the childish complaints.

See,
Something very similar to this happened to me.
I was having lunch with some coworkers, and we had purchased a bag of Almond Joys miniatures (so everyone could have two). Well, on the package, and EVERY bar, were the words, AlmondS, with the s being emphasized. Though, lo and behold, only one almond present in every bar.
This infuriated my friend, and I called the one 800 number to ease her stress. When I explained my complaint (after being on hold for five minutes) there was a pause of about one minute. I could tell the girl had muted the phone and was laughing at me. I demanded retribution, since it was definitely false advertising, but the phone cut out. Since I didn't want to wait again another five minutes, I never called back.

Its letters like this that ruin what this website is all about. And eventually companies will stop reading and responding to anything sent through PFB.
I also think the spamming of this letter on all the other letters was immature.

Obviously there are letter writers such as this one who are just interested in writing a humor piece for others to comment on and have no real issue. Might I suggest giving them a platform by which to do so? It's easy, given the laid back tone of the response sections below the shared letters, to forget that when writing these letters, we are writing them to places of business. These businesses, for the most part, value consumer feedback and may see PFB as a valuable tool for staying in touch with their consumers. Letters like this, while humorous, weaken the validity of PFB as a reliable means of feedback. And the CSR reps who must take such letters seriously and attempt to "resolve" the issue to management's satisfaction don't appreciate it either - trust me on this one. So a separate means for displaying wit without bothering those consumer relation employees with a heavy workload, and hence better things to do, would be appreciated...oh, wait. That's what our blogs are for. Nevermind.

Now this is what bother me about Planetfeedback - apparently there are people with nothing better to do than write ridiculous letters like this one just to they might get posted.
The unfortunate thing is that if I were a company and I received lots of letters like this via Planetfeedback, I would probably start ignoring them - which is a shame because I think this site performs a great service.

First of all, it's Nestle turned ITS back - not "their" (or, in your case, the misspelled "thier").
Secondly, crass remarks such as "skidmark on the underpants of society" make me think that you're not a very large contribution to society, either.
And, if I'm not mistaken, all Sprees taste the same, regardless of color.
And it's not Nestle's fault you don't have a bank account. They refunded your money. They don't have to do anything else.
"Corporate bigotry"? Oh, my head. Hurts from laughing at this completely ridiculous comment.
And if your t-shirt size is XL, maybe you should cut out the candy, anyway.

How's a t-shirt going to make things any better? I'm suprised they even gave you more money than the candy was worth; in fact I'm surprised they gave you any money at all. Nestle is an evil company; everyone knows that. So why bother writing a letter about something so trivial as the flavors of a roll of sprees?

If this letter was real well when they make the box of sprees the colours that go in the box are random.

They sent you a check for $1.56 and you only paid $1.29? AND they sent you a coupon (even if it was for Whoppers)? The box you got was probably just a fluke. Get over it. It's not the end of the world.

I had a similar experience with hershey's. I bought what I thought was a bag of m and m's and some sneaky factory worker, probably looking for a few laughs, or making some political support for the president. "G "Dubaya" Bush. Totally ruined my day, then this voice in my head (not the usual one, but one that sounded like Keanu Reeves in an echo chamber) said "Turn them around"
Not as earth shattering as your experience was but i learned my lesson...now I separate them in an egg carton before eating them and make sure that i have an equal amount of each. whatever's left i give to the guy in front of 7-11 asking for money.
Hmm i wish i kept my receipt...maybe hersheys would sent ME coupons and a tee shirt too...
Anyway... good luck and don't let it get to you!!!

The only person directly responsible for this is the QA person on the assembly line of the factory in wherever the heck city Nestle is nestled in. Take that box of candy you have and throw it off a bridge. Then go to a different store and buy a new box of candy from a different lot. Aside from that: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! I've lost more money than that in a telephone!

Hey, now, are you "borrowing" a little from Paul Rosa? You know, in his book "Idiot Letters" he always requested an XL t-shirt, too. Plagiarist! :-)
I never thought to mention that Planet Feedbackers would love that book! Check it out, guys.

Wow, what a bummer. Whoppers make me sick. Sounds like corporate doesn't care about the customer, or they would have tried to make you whole again by giving you like for like. I noticed a comment about taking it back to the store -it's not the store's fault that the manufacturer didn't care about the quality of their candy. And, the boxes say if you're not satisfied to contact them, not the store. Thanks for letting us know that Nestle isn't customer friendly. I get pretty tired of dealing with stuff like this. I have enough trauma in my life without being disappointed by a manufacturer on something as simple as this, so I can feel your pain. I hope you get your replacement Sprees AND the T-shirt -you've earned it!
