ATLANTA - A man admitted Tuesday that he tampered with his children's
soup in an attempt to get money from Campbell Soup Co., a prosecutor
said.

William Allen Cunningham's 3-year-old son and 18-month-old daughter
were hospitalized twice in January 2006. He forced them first to eat
soup laced with hot peppers and lighter fluid, and the second time
used the prescription drugs Prozac and Amitriptyline - both used to
treat depression - to poison the children, authorities said.

Cunningham, 41, pleaded guilty to communicating false claims, U.S.
Attorney David Nahmias said. Under terms of a plea agreement, he faces
up to five years in federal prison when he is sentenced April 19.

"He admitted that he put potentially life-threatening foreign
substances into soup, which he fed to his two young children and then
placed a call to Campbell Soup Co. falsely claiming that the soup had
been contaminated," Nahmias said.

According to prosecutors, Cunningham called Campbell and threatened to
sue. Authorities say there was no evidence the soup was tainted when
it was bought.

BRADENTON, Fla. (AP) - A woman claims she found a razor blade in her
McDonald's breakfast sandwich early Wednesday, and authorities
interviewed people involved.

Carolyn Bovey, 54, who was not injured, said she ordered the sausage,
egg and cheese McMuffin in the drive-thru of a McDonald's in
Bradenton. She allegedly found the blade in the sandwich's eggs after
biting into it at work, according to a police report.

A manager at the store told authorities that the restaurant uses razor
blades, but it was unclear if they were the same type Bovey claims she
found. It was also unclear what the blades were used for. The manager
told authorities that the only way she could see the incident
happening was if someone had placed an object above the cooking area
and it fell in accidentally, a police report said.

Sheriff's Sgt. Mike Kenyan said he found a razor blade in the
manager's desk that resembled the one found in Bovey's sandwich.

Restaurant owner Cynthia Kennedy said in a statement that the public
should be wary of making assumptions about the incident.

"Absolutely nothing is more important to me than operating safe
restaurants. We take great pride in the food we serve our customers
and set rigorous standards for food and restaurant safety," Kennedy
said. "We strongly caution anyone from jumping to conclusions without
having all the facts."

Kennedy said through a spokeswoman that she does not know why loose
razor blades would be in the restaurant. She added that the restaurant
is cooperating with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. She said she
could not comment further because the investigation is ongoing.

"Why would anything like this be near a food preparation area?" Bovey
told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. "That almost made me feel worse,
that something like this could happen by accident. This should never
have happened."

She said she feels like she slightly cut her lip and was talking to
attorneys.

Is it just me or does it seem that every fake-claim person is
attacking the fast food industry these days? I ask you, what ever
happened to a good old fashioned fall? Or even some profitable
emotional distress?

I tell ya, someone's gonna have to get creative and fast or all those
people who rely on fake claims are gonna go under.

BAY CITY, Mich. (AP) - A lovers' quarrel and a case of mistaken
identity has landed a teenager behind bars after police say he
repeatedly rammed a teenage girl's car, thinking it was his
girlfriend.

State police told The Saginaw News that the victim - a 17-year-old
from Pinconning - called 911 early Sunday when the suspect smashed his
car into the rear of hers.

The 17-year-old suspect struck her car about 15 times and pushed it
through stop signs at intersections, the victim told police.

Dispatchers advised her to lead the suspect toward police units who
were en route to intercept them, police said.

State police troopers and Bay County sheriff's deputies caught up with
the suspect and pursued the Bay City teen at speeds of up to 90 miles
per hour, police said.

The teen told police he thought the driver was his girlfriend, who
left a party after the couple quarreled. He said he wanted to talk to
her and get his goodnight kiss, so he went searching for her, police
said.

He told police he was talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone,
telling her to stop her car. She told him she was stopped and didn't
know what he was talking about, officers said.

The teen likely will face charges including assault with a vehicle,
fleeing police and drunk driving.

------------------------------------------------------

Hmmm ramming your car into someone else's to get their attention? This
sounds like an ex boyfriend.

I think I may have dodged a bullet here.

That's it! Ever since I switched to Comcast my connection has been
shaky at best. I swear they must be using a string and tin can for a
modem. As soon as my contract is up I'm dropping them like a bad
habit.

I renounce my cable internet connection!

On the other hand, the customer service people at Comcast are
incredibly helpful when it comes to temporarily fixing the problem,
they just can't give me a permenant solution. And I can't yell at them
because they're just so darn nice.

Ya know, that gives me an idea. I'll open a buisness where you can
call and yell at me for 99 cents a minute.

That's the million dollar one right there.

LIBERTY, Ohio (AP) - A grocery store manager was struck in the head
with a 10-pound sack of potatoes by a customer angry about having to
wait in line, police say. Police in Liberty, near Youngstown in
northeast Ohio, say a 59-year-old woman from Youngstown is suspected
in the attack.

Scott Renzenbrink, 45, told police a clerk having problems with a
customer called him to the register. The customer told him she was
upset about the wait and struck the manager in the back of head with
the potatoes when he was walking away after the conversation,
according to police.

A witness followed the woman out to the parking lot and took down her
license plate number.

Renzenbrink, who was not seriously hurt in the attack last Thursday,
identified the woman by a Bureau of Motor Vehicles photo. He may file
assault charges.

Oh my god I love having the internet...and cable.

Comcast digital cable is so sweet. And the DVR is the answer to my
prayers. No longer do I have to go without seeing all my favorite
cartoons that only play at 3am, such as the Angry Beavers. I freakin
love the Angry Beavers.

We just got a brand new computer last Tuesday even though we still
don't have a couch =). When it came Corey was so excited, he was
bouncing around like a puppy! We've already started playing our
designated computer games. He really likes Anarchy Online and I of
course am playing the Sims! Oh and Oregon Trail, Heck Yeah! I remember
playing Oregon Trail in elementry school on floppy disk, that was so
awesome.

Ok so I find that I've been getting angrier and angrier at some of the
letters lately and then I remembered a few rules that really help when
responding to posts. This is from another forum that I frequent at
http://www.etiquettehell.com/forum/.

Scritzy's Coke Rules
1. If a post annoys me, count to 10 before replying
2. If a post angers me, count to 100.
3. If a post infuriates me, shut down computer and
drink a Coke.

That's it! It's so simple. So please, I'm asking everyone here, if you
see a post of mine that is particularly snarky, just reply with
"Scritzy".

One of my comments was recently removed because I used the words
'damn' and 'hell'. That is such a petty reason. Anyone who cares to
read them can see that none of my other replies contained any
profanity whatsoever. I feel as though I was judged based on one
comment.

The thing is that my profile is shared. I stand behind what I say and
I want anyone who's interested to read the replies that I've posted on
any letter. Anyone who has any critism or comments about me can come
to my profile and leave a message on my blog. There was no need to
take such drastic measures.

I've only been at this site for a few months but I love it. I check it
everyday that I can, I post on every letter that strikes my interest.
I feel as though I just got a taste of the good things here and then a
few mean spirited people went and ruined it. I don't understand why
all these people came here, clearly didn't like what they saw, and
instead of leaving in search of a forum that was more to their liking,
they decided to change all the rules to fit their needs. It's
ridiculous.

I hope that my blog is considered neutral ground and I won't be
punished for anything I've said. I don't want my commenting privlidges
to be revoked but I wonder how much longer it will be before
commenting isn't even worth the trouble.

I had just sat down and wrote all about how much I love T-Mobile when
suddenly it hit me. I'm on a feedback site, I should write some
feedback and tell THEM how much love I have. Duh!

I have the Moto Razr and the hinge just broke off the side today! It
probably has something to do with me dropping it on the cement every
other day but I'm not sure =) Regardless my insurance is going to
replace it. I just filed the claim today and they said I would have it
by Tuesday, as in 3 days! Is it just me or is that amazingly quick?

I've only had to file a claim once before and that was almost 3 years
ago with Verizon. It took them 2 weeks to get me a replacement and
that time my phone had been stolen so I didn't even have a phone to
talk on. At least this time it's just a little broken and I can still
use it...sort of. I mean I have to hold the top half on but still!

Anyway forget this go read my letter!

Not looking promising.

I think my job is starting to warp me. I approve greetings for
a...chat line...ok, ok...it's a phone sex line. So basically I sit at
my desk and listen to the greetings that men are leaving to entice
women to come and talk to them. I'm also responsible for hiring the
phone actresses.

Some men are so ridiculous, you wouldn't believe what some guys think
will turn on the ladies. Although I have to say that the worst is when
sad/old guys are on here actually looking for a relationship. HELLO!
You are in the wrong place!

Although I guess I can't complain. I get paid pretty decently and
really I only do maybe 60 minutes of actual work in an 8 hour shift.
Dealing with the "actresses" is by far the most tedious part.

Anyway back to the warping.

I'm starting to look at guys differently now. I can't even go to the
bar without hearing the weird disconnected voices coming from those
stupid greetings! I mean I suppose every guy says something every now
and then that isn't the smoothest but it seems to me that every man I
encounter chooses the moment that I'm talking to him to say that
certine something.

Thank god I have a boyfriend.

Maybe I can work therapy into my benefits package =)

I have no idea what I did with my life before discovering this
website. If I could I would quit work and dedicate myself full time to
watching my feeds and waiting for a new letter to post. Of course if I
quit my job then I wouldn't be able to access PlanetFeedback as I
don't have internet access (or a computer for that matter) at home.
This is because I am living in the 1800's.

But seriously when is the last time someone told you they don't have
the internet? Never you say, that sounds about right. My 60 year old
mother has internet access for christ's sake (should christ be
capitalized in that context?). It's especially embarrassing when I go
someplace and they want me to take a survey or like Blockbust always
wants me to sign up for their online pass and I always have to stop
the person and tell them I don't have the internet. Last time the
clerk told me to go to the library and sign up, I thought that was a
little bizarre. And sadly there are a few other household items that
are a little higher on the priority list then a computer.

Like a couch for instance.

*sigh* I suppose I'll have to keep my job a little while longer after
all.
