Fedex Lost Package

In November of 2005 I shipped a package weighing 105 Lbs from Lancaster Pennsylvania to West Point Utah. The package never arrived. I contacted Fedex customer service and provided all tracking numbers. I explained to FedEx what had happened. About a month later in December of 2005 I received a package fedex delivered that was not my original package, it belonged to somebody else. I took the package into the local fedex shipping facility and explained to them the package was not mine. About 17 days later I again recieved the same package a 2nd time. I called Fedex and instructed them I was leaving the package on my front step and they had to come and pick it up. I once again contacted Fedex customer service and asked them where my package was. They explained to me my package was lost. I asked them if there was a possibility of the package turning up. They stated there was an overgoods department and the package had a possibility of turning up there. I asked the customer service person if I could keep an open claim in case my package was found. She stated I could. So I did that before I filed an insurance claim because I wanted the contents of the package v.s. the insurance money. I kept the claim open for 9 months, and I never heard from Fedex. I called Fedex in October of 2006 and I asked them if I could file a claim to regain some of the loss I had with them losing my package. The package was worth ($400.00), and the shipping was $95.00. The customer service person stated she would send me out papers to file a claim. From the first phone call I never recieved the papers, I called a second time and I finally did recieve the papers. I filled out all necessary paperwork and sent it back to Fedex. I got a response approx. two weeks later stating the claim was denied because it was not filed with in 9 months of the loss of the package. Customer service stated to me that I was within the time frame to file a claim because I contacted the company as soon as I discovered the loss. After my claim was denied I called Fedex back after my claim was denied and explained to them that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with somebody in upper managment. I spoke with a female in Fedex upper managment and she explained to me Fedex was going to stand behind their denial and they were not going to refund my shipping, or pay for the loss of my package.

Refund the cost of my package, and the shipping that I paid in the amount of $495.00

It is December 26th, 2011 and FEDEX GROUND has still not refunded my
$495 or located the package they STOLE from me. FEDEX GROUND are a
bunch of LIARS, CHEATS, THEIFS! And they are LIARS! NEVER USE FEDEX
GROUND! THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU! LIARS! CROOKS! FEDEX GROUND OWES
ME $495.00!!!!!!

On Dec 4 2011 Fedex was suppose to deliver a package that contain my
medications i paid for. Come Tues still no package. I called and
emailed them all i received was a claim number. The next day Fedex
called me instead of determine where my medications at they tryied
telling me did i look outside I told her i am disable i am home
everyday if a package was delivered i would know. Then she ask do you
live in a townhouse i stated no i live in a single family home the
first home you come to right on the top of a hill on the corner. So
all i got was we will call you back after we check with the driver i
have not hear anything yet I can not afford to buy my pills again and
i need them now. If Fedex cared they would Knock on your door and ask
for your name or signature not just leave a package on the outside of
someone door unless they state that this is what they want done. They
do not know what is any that package and the value besides its the
holidays people are looking to steal or pickup anything they see
laying around. I think that this is the most unprofessional thing i
have every seen and it is unacceptable who will pay for my
medications?

It is 2/21/11 and to this date FEDEX GROUND has not found my package.
Just so everyone in the public knows FEDEX GROUND LIES, STEALS,
CHEATS, and will LOSE your packages! Don't use FEDEX GROUND! They
are CROOKS! FEDEX GROUND STEALS! They STOLE from me! Im a very
unhappy former customer!

As of 12/12/10 FED EX GROUND has not found my package, or given me a
refund for the price of my package. FEDEX GROUND are LIARS, CHEATS,
and FRAUDS! Do not use FEDEX GROUND!!!!! FEDEX GROUND has forgotten
about me now, allthough 4 years after they LOST MY PACKAGE I have not
forgotten, and I never will. Any company who CHEATS a loyal customer
out of $495.00 should not be forgotten for their DISHONEST practice.
Thankyou FEDEX GROUND for SCREWING me out of $495.00! I am one
former customer who will never forget!

As of 08/02/2010 FED EX GROUND has not paid for my claim, found the
property of mine worth $500 that was lost while it was in FED EX
GROUNDS care. FED EX GROUND are a bunch of LIARS, CHEATS, CROOKS, and
they SCREW you every chance they can. FED EX GROUND you are a bunch
of PRICKS, DO NOT USE FED EX GROUND!

As of 5/31/2010 FED EX GROUND has not called me about the package that
was lost several years ago, the insurance claim was never paid. I
have been CHEATED OUT OF MY MONEY, LIED TO, and IGNORED. Thanks again
FEDEX GROUND! FEDEX GROUND ARE CROOKS, THEIVES, LIARS, and will STEAL
YOUR MONEY! DON'T USE FEDEX GROUND!

I shipped a package when i was moving from Florida to San Diego with
all my most valued belongings. The package never arrived either! i had
insurance on it. so i started the dreading process of contacting,
tracking, filling out claims, waiting for phone calls. At the end,
never received my insurance money or never saw any of my things againg
:(
I HATE FED-EX!

Our company shipped 7 shipments of servers overseas to Korea, and when
it arrived, the shipments were completely destroyed. Diagnostics
showed around 80% devastation to our servers. In total, our declared
value was around $16,000.

We have shipped with FedEx on earlier occasions, to Hong Kong, Korea
and the UK, using the same boxes. We purchased double walled boxes
rated for 300+ pounds, as well as foam and bubble wrap. All previous
shipments, no problem.

So we get denied due to our own packing materials. What? I thought
that is why we pay extra for insuring these shipments. Much less pay
them for a damaged shipment they provided. They didn't even CONTACT
US to let us know that there was a problem!!! The only notification
we got was that they were delivered! The boxes were obviously opened,
as one shipment arrived in a FedEx box, not the original box we
shipped it in. Servers were mangled beyond recognition. Intentional
damage.

As of 12/23/09 my package that was lost by FEDEX GROUND has not been
returned, and FEDEX GROUND has never paid my loss of $500. FEDEX
GROUND LIES, STEALS, CHEATS, and is basically a DISHONEST COMPANY.
Think long and hard before you ship any packages through FEDEX GROUND,
or any FEDEX company. I am a very unhappy former customer and when I
ship I now use the United States Postal Service, or UPS. Both of
those companies are not perfect, but they do pay insurance claims when
a package is lost or misplaced. FEDEX GROUND SUCKS!!

Today it is MAY 31, 2009 several years after FEDEX GROUND lost my
package. To this date FEDEX GROUND has not responded or refunded any
of my $500. At this point FEDEX GROUND will not refund, or has no
intention of refunding any of my $500. I have told as many people as
possible about my horrible experience with FEDEX GROUND! FEDEX GROUND
is DISHONEST, they lost my $500 PACKAGE and did not refund the cost of
the shipping, or the value of my package. FEDEX GROUND are a bunch of
CROOKS! Don't use FEDEX GROUND!

I'm in the same situration,,, my case is they lost my legal documents
which includes all of my personal information. The document needed for
immigration purpose. Unbelievable that this is happening to me!!! I
started to worry if someone stole my package for criminal use? That's
really scarry. I just filed a claim,,, let's see what's going to
happen.

It is 1/1/2009 and to this date FEDEX GROUND has not found or returned
my package that they lost totaling almost $500. It has been 3 years
now and Im out $500 thanks to FEDEX GROUND. FEDEX GROUND you are
CROOKS, DISHONEST, provide BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Everybody out there
do not use FEDEX GROUND to handle your packages! Use another shipping
company! FEDEX GROUND is the worse! Take it from a guy that FEDEX
GROUND Screwed out of quite a bit of money.

Nine months to file a claim is their stated policy. Whatever
possessed you to wait almost a year to file your claim? Surely you
bear some of the responsibility for your losss for not filing a timely
claim. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to inquire about how long
after a loss you can file a claim.

It is July, 8th 2008 and FEDEX GROUND still has not responded to my
complaint, or refunded my $500 for the package they lost. FEDEX
GROUND is a Dishonest company, and treat their customers, and FORMER
CUSTOMERS like they don't matter! I am telling everyone I know, DO
NOT USE FEDEX GROUND! THEY WILL LOSE YOUR PACKAGE AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF
YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Take it from a guy who FEDEX GROUND CHEATED
OUT OF $500! DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU!

It is May, 26 2008 and Fedex still has not found my package or given
me a refund on my loss. They ripped me off over a large sum of money.
I will never let this issue rest. I tell EVERONE I meet do not use
FEDEX! Fedex is DISHONEST, Treats its loyal customers HORRIBLY, and is
NOT COMPETENT as a shipping company or in the area of customer
service. WATCH OUT FOR FEDEX GROUND! CHOOSE ANOTHER SHIPPING
PROVIDER. FEDEX GROUND SCREWED ME OVER BIGTIME!

The exactly same thing is happening to me right now!!

I've been waiting for my laptop (which cost me $1400) more than 1
month so far,and calling to Customer service numerous times, but
NOBODY helps me out of this. Each time I call them, they give me wrong
information, nobody seems to know how to solve the problem. They
promise to call me back, but never do. What a dishonest, irresponsible
company!! I thought Fedex would be more reliable, but IT IS NOT!!!!
There is no more frustrating thing than waiting and not seeing any
result after calling and spending so much time!!

It was due to arrive on 10/24/07. A trace was requested the day after
when there was no sign of it after it left Ellenwood, GA headed for
Jacksonville FL. I called everyday several times a day. All the
customer service people have been very nice. My Client who is to
receive the cello also has been calling. It has been missing for 7
days now. There is now a case opened and a Fed Ex Agent trying to
trace this 55"x21"x15" box. It is a very large box....hard to miss
when it is as big as a small human and has florescent stickers all
over it. But there you go......the cello turned into vapor on it's
last 100 miles of a 3500 mile trek. My customer and I are really
hoping it shows up, but hope is fading. Even if the label fell off, we
reported it so fast that if it were at the proper terminal where it
was supposed to be they would've found it. Maybe it kept on going
south to Miami, maybe it'll wind up in Fed Ex lost and found. But I
have a bad feeling about this...it may be claims time, Damn!

It is 10/24/07 and to this date Fedex has not contacted me in
reference to my lost package. I have called numerous times, and
written letters. I am just ignored. THANKS Fedex Ground for losing
my package and cheating me out of $495. Thanks for providing me NO
customer service. Fedex ground is dishonest, They will cheat you out
of your hard earned money, and they do not fix the problems they have
caused. DON'T USE FEDEX! They burned me, don't let them have a
chance to cheat, and steal from you! Very sad....

6 months after filing this complaint FedEx still has not turned up my
package or paid any dammages. Im still out almost $500.00 of my hard
earned money. Beware anyone that decides to use FEDEX ground! They
will RIP YOU OFF, LIE, and not stand behind their service. I am one
