How many of us are at our "well paying" jobs, looking at PFB on company time, while the "working poor actually work for their 6-8 dollars an hour?

Can't be too poor, you have a computer and internet access. Eliminate that unneeded expense and you could eat out.

If you are so poor, then go file for food stamps and COOK AT HOME.
Soda is YUCK YUCK YUCK anywhere. Use your food stamps for some juice or something.
You must be fat.

Everyone is knocking Taco Bell for their E Coli issue...ahh but it was Jack in the Box who killed 4 children due to ecoli years ago...they have since come a long way, hopefully Taco Bell will too....

I mean, what have they done for me? Just cleaned my hotel room, cleared my tables at restaurants, cleaned the common areas of my condo building, give me friendly service at my local convenience store...

I happen to like Jack In The box. I have not noticed their pricing going up and I go there for lunch about once a week. I, personally like the $.99 Chicken sandwich (but I add cheese to it so it comes to like $1.19). There are LOADS of things to eat there that are cheep. My husband and I can eat there for under $10. But there are some that are a little more expensive. And I don't know about the soda, we get water (it's free) or, if we are having a bad day at work, a Chocolate Shake. But, if you are so poor, why are you eating out? If we find our self's low on funds before payday, we bring our lunch to work. And DO NOT eat out at night for a few days.

I can't quite understand the point of this letter. Seriously... all fast food restaurants are pretty much the same...the decent ones DO cater to all segments of society (the working poor, the working middle class, the working rich). The working poor usually go for the "Biggie Value Meal" the working middle class usually goes for a reguar hamburger, small fries, and a small coke. The Working Rich order off the dollar menu, bring their own used teabags and ask for a cup of hot water...then walk off with the house paper (how do you think they got so rich?)
Yuck Yuck Yuck is three Yucks too much to describe ANYTHING. And believe me, right now, Taco Bell is having some serious problems to deal with and I truly doubt they're 2000 percent better. They WILL come back, but it'll take some time and Public Relations.
We don't have this chain around here, but i'm guessing they probably raised their prices recently?

If you don't like the prices, find a fast food place that provides the $1 or $.99 value menu, like say, McDonald's or Wendy's. This is a matter of what is most important to you. I do not have a Jack In The Box anywhere near me. I have a McDonalds, BK, and Wendy's about 20 miles from me, so if I want to go to one of those places, I decide what is most important. If I want better service, I choose BK or Wendy's. If I want a whopper, of course, I choose BK. If I want cheap & great taste, I go to Wendy's. You could just stop eating out too.

First of all, you may or may not have a legitimate complaint (I wouln't know since I've never heard of this restaurant before), but this letter is poorly written and it makes you seem less credible. For example, use exclamation point sparingly, and NEVER use multiple exclamation point, or question marks and exclamation points together. Also, the YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! is not necessary and unprofessional. Simply saying that you are dissatisfied or that you dislike the sodas should suffice. Also, 2000% is way too much hyperbole for a credible letter. I'm not sure why you would compare them to Taco Bell, anyway. Are the two establishments similar?
Also, the comments you make about the quality, service, and food are complimentary, which I'm sure they'll appreciate. But it seems to me that if you're otherwise pleased with the restaurant, the paying a bit more would be worth it.
I suggest rewriting the letter when you are less angry, and be sure to explain your complaint in a professional, less hostile, more coherent manner.

Go to Taco Bell, you like it better and it has prices that you can afford.

I ate at a Jack in the Box once. YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!
Maybe it's just me, but low prices and "the best food, the best quality and the nice servings for a fast food restaurant" seem a bit mutually exclusive.

What about the working poor that work at Jack-in-the-Box? Perhaps the raise in prices is going to pay them better?
I doubt it, but maybe.

Yes, they like the working poor. Hence the higher prices. This way, they can actually pay their own working poor.
Oh, and your letter? "YUCK! YUCK! YUCK!"

but can't you get like 2000 calories there for under 5 bucks? That's an entire day's worth for a healthy person.
