A very helpful Sprint employee

A couple of days ago, I signed a contract with Sprint PCS. I first called to get information in order to try to reduce the time I had to spend in the store. I talked with a young lady named Nik at your 71st and Lewis store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I read Nik a list of features that I needed in my cell phone and a list of the features that my wife needs in hers. I also described the kind of calling we do. Nik asked me a few questions and then came up with a rate plan and suggested two phones. The phones that she recommended fit the specs I gave her perfectly. The rate plan looks good and is less expensive than the service that we had with another company. I made an appointment with her to set things up.

The store was very busy and when she got to me, I was concerned about having time to complete everything before I had to leave for a meeting. She told me that we could do it but we would have to get right to work. I answered Nik's first question and then I started to elaborate on my answer. Nik said, "Mr. 'B', we're going to have to stay on track if we're going to get you to your meeting on time." I chuckled along with her but I was VERY impressed.

If possible, I would appreciate it very much if you would relay my letter to Nik's supervisor. For her to be able to match our needs so well and so quickly indicates that she knows her job very well. Additionally, she was just a very pleasant person to deal with.

Thank you.

A few minutes ago, I got a call from Sprint saying that they had
received my message and thanking me. They said that they would pass
the letter on to the employee's supervisor. :)

The small screen is a problem but cell phones were never intended to
surf the 'net the way you do on a desktop or laptop. I use mine for
email, weather and weather radar (especially when traveling), GPS for
geocaching and travel routes, maps, and stuff like that. I even blog
from my cell phone when I'm traveling. For people who DO like text
messaging (I prefer email), you can usually get packages that include
unlimited text messages.

Sprint might not have the cache of some of the other names but I've
used their wireless swervice in two markets places since 2000 and they
have met or exceeded my expectations. Great job!!

Look at you in the 15 minutes of fame with this sweet letter! I knew
you had it in you! :)

I think it's great that you took the time to let Sprint know about
this great employee. You might send a copy directly to the branch
where Nik works as well, just to be sure. I know it would make her
day to know you appreciated her hard work!

I love letters like this; especially since I have received similar
service from Sprint, both in-store and over the phone. You're right -
its customer service is top notch.
