Your commercial is destroying my sanity.

Here's the basis of my complaint. I saw your commercial the other day (whoa-oh) while watching television, and now (Office Depot) I can't get the jingle out of my head. It pops up (whoa-oh) at inopportune times, such as during business meetings, on phone conversations (Office Depot), and while I'm in the shower. I can't make it stop.

(whoa-oh)

So what I'm hoping for is that you could send me (whoa-oh) one of those disembodied hands in a box in your commercial (Office Depot) and that when I opened the box, the hand could punch me really hard in the face (whoa-oh) which would give me amnesia so I could forget that stupid jingle of yours.

Thanks for listening. I'm going to go put my head in the freezer now.

(Here to lend you a hand!)

If you want pain relief from all those facial punches try "Head ON
apply directly to the forehead. Head ON apply directly to the
forehead"....

It's called effective marketing...it's working. You're remembering the
company AND the jingle!!

Wait a minute. Before one can claim to have one's sanity destroyed,
doesn't one have to actually be certified as SANE?

Can't say I've ever seen that commercial, but the whoa-ohs for some
reason put that commercial from yonks ago into my head: dah dah dah
(doo doo doo doo) with the two guys in the car? Can't remember what
the commercial was for (Volkswagon, perhaps?), but it certainly stuck
in the mind.

Thanks a LOT! : (

must suffer as I have suffered.

Anybody else land themselves in the mental ward trying to get the
"Hand in my pocket, hand in my pocket, hand in my pock-et" out?

Oh, no, even worse is that phone commerical (Verizon? Not sure) with
the AFV clips and the annoying Axel F-esque music in the background...

ROFL! Luckily, I don't know the commercial of which you speak.

The one that's driving me nuts is for the Chevy President's Day Sale
where they're playing "Hail To The Chief" with a hip-hop/rap beat to
it.

It was supposed to be over as of February 20th, but the wonderful
people at Chevy have extended the sale to February 28th -
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I can't recall seeing this particular commercial, but I have
certainly gotten jingles stuck annoyingly in my head for hours or days
before. No fun.

However.... considering that the whole point of a jingle is to get
you to remember the company....

It's working, right? ;-)

You think you've got it bad Erik?

Try getting the Mickey D's jingle out of your head!

Ba da ba ba ba...I'm Lovin' It. NOT!

I need to find a 40-pound fence maul to get that outta my head.

"when I opened the box, the hand could punch me really hard in the

I read this as I shoved a forkful of spaghetti in my mouth and nearly
laughed it back out onto the plate.

Thanks for the always-needed laugh!

You think that's bad?

I used to work there and they play Office Depot commercials along with
those awesome muzak songs.

I got the whole "Taking Care of Business" crapola stuck in my head!

My last day was Black Friday and I still can't get rid of it.
