Rude CS reps will not cancel my service or stop trying to debit my credit card!!

Had Vonage for 9 months. Nothing but trouble. Now cannot get them to cancel. Keep trying to debit my bank card. Have called Customer Service many times and written many emails. No results. Rudest reps I have ever delt with. Keep trying over and over to put you through to Tech Support no matter what you tell them. They get loud, mean and have even laughed at me. 3 weeks of this and I still have not gotten it canceled. Emails tell me to call. Calling gets me furious. Site says 24/7 cust. ser. NOT TRUE! You can get tech support but cust. ser. only 8-8 Mon.-Fri. They want to charge me to disconnect something that has never worked right. When it goes out it takes our computers with it and it is hours or days before the vonage divice resets itsself so we have no computers either. I have probably spent a whole weeks worth of hours in the floor unhooking and rehooking up all their mess in the last 9 months. But when you call them and want it disconnected they will do ANYTHING and say ANYTHING to keep you on the line (using up my cell phone mintues) trying to get you to try more crap. And then you check the site only to see that they still have not disconnected it. This has went on for weeks. I would never reccomend them to anyone. Stay far far away. I had to cancel my bank card to get them to stop trying to debit it. They were trying to do this every couple of days and I have found from looking on the web that they are doing this to others too. And the first thing they do if you are successful in getting them to cancel is slap your debit/credit card with a huge charge. I have written the CEO of the company today. Hope that gets results. Can I sue these guys for harassment or something? I swear it is that bad.

Cancel my account. Apologize for their rude, hateful, obnoxious customer service reps. Fix website to say that only tech support is available 24/7. Put the truth as to when customer service is available on site. Compensate me for all the headaches and time and misery they have put me through, not to mention the expense of all the calls waiting and talking to their reps with NO results except shouting matches.

sorry I do not understand. What do you mean when you say you get what
you give? For 9 months I bent over backwards to be nice to these
people, always calling tech support and working with them. Tech
support was helpful but who wants to be spending time every few days
or weeks unhooking and rehooking up the vonage device. And it knocks
out our computers and we have to do without them until the vonage
device decides to reset itself. Sometimes it takes days. When I am
with Tech Support I have to run back and forth from room to room
checking the phone and computers seeing if it is now working since
everything is not in the same room as the vonage device. Not easy for
someone with a torn meniscus in their knee needing surgery. And even
if I was a sprinter I simply should not have all this trouble. I have
did this so much I can tell you the troubleshooting steps by heart.
Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. And it ALWAYS goes right
back out again soon anyway. I am tired of it. So why can't they just
cancel and be done with it? I am not the only one having this problem
with them. Go to any site that does this kind of stuff and you will
see that Vonage has many complaints just as bad as mine. These reps
have did everything in their power to make my life miserable for the
last 3 weeks. And all because I want to simply cancel their service. I
hope they lose in court and go under. There are many other VOIP
services springing up out there to try. Maybe they will learn from
Vonage what NOT to do.
