Terrible Customer Service, I felt totally ignored.

One morning the past week I needed to go to my local corporate store (In Coral Springs, FL on University and Royal Palm) to exchange my 6126. As soon as the doors opened, I walked in. There were 2 other people in front of me. After they were taken care of, there were 3 reps available to help me. It took them almost 5 minutes just for them to help me, and none of them even acknowledge I was in the store. No, hello, we'll be right with you, nothing like that. After 5 minutes this man named Jason waved me over. Didn't even ask me how I was doing or "can i help you", etc. I told him I had an exchange and he just left to check if they had the phone in stock. Everything else went smoothly, but I felt extremely ignored throughout the whole process.

Well, so much for customer service. I felt like he owed ME the favor. In fact, if it weren't for customers, he would be out of a job. I would like someone to talk to him, or even the whole staff at that store needs some pointers on customer service. Something in return would be nice, because I am NEVER going back to that store again. They will never get my business.

I'm assuming, since you didn't state otherwise, you got your phone
exchanged. So your complaint is that you weren't properly greeted and
for that you want "something in return" - - that you felt "ignored"
and are complaining because the sales person didn't ask how you were
doing? I can't believe you fired up your computer to write this letter
(as well as the two to car dealerships that didn't cave into your
unreasonable demands).

You just seem to be having a lot of problems at retailers. I don't
know if it's the fact that you expect too much or what. Personally, I
don't think this situation is even complaint worthy but that's me,
others might think differently.

Basically, you had a store experience that was bad and wanted to write
a letter to corporate. Ok.

What is the point of this post? That store will never get your
business again, but Cingular/At&T will.

I'm sure that was a terrible experience. That is one of my pet peeves
to walk into any type of store and to be made to feel like they are
doing me a favor by assisting me. If anything, this will hopefully
draw attention to the company that this store needs a customer service
touch up. Not sure what you mean about the something in return would
be nice, I think you possibly deserve an apology. Otherwise, your
issue was resolved.
