SUNTRUST CREDIT CARD AND BANK IS THE WORST EVER

SUNTRUST CREDIT CARD AND BANK IS THE WORST EVER

Since July, 2007 I have been disputing a charge. I send them everything that they needed & requested. They gave me NOTHING BUT EXCUSES ALSO THEY KEEP TAKING MY DISPUTE AND CLOSING IT TRYING TO HAVE ME PAY LATE CHARGES. My bill is payed in FULL. I also had to watch them like a hulk because they keep taking it off dispute just right around the time the bill on DUE. THEY KEEP PLAYING GAMES WITH ME.

I bought shoes from ioffer.com from seller GOOD4YOURMONEY ON THAT SITE. The shoes that I got COUNTERFEIT REPLICA PLUS NOT AS DESCRIBED BOTH SHOES WERE FOR THE RIGHT FEET one size 8 & the other size 9. They were also defective with marks on them plus they were COUNTERFEIT REPLICA LOUIS VUITTON SHOES. I tried enormous times to send them the garbage back to seller but they got kick Off ioffer.com for being fraudulent misleading & selling COUNTERFEIT REPLICA ITEMS.

I will no longer use this card THEY PROMOTE SELLER TO SEND YOU NOTHING OR GARBAGE ALSO COUNTERFEIT REPLICA AND WON'T TAKE IT OFF. IF YOU USE THIS CARD YOU WILL GET NOTHING BUT LIES & EXCUSES A SELLER COULD SEND YOU NOTHING IN A BOX WITH THIS SUNTRUST CARD YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.
I EVEN SEND THEM A PICK OF THE SHOES PLUS STICKERS ON IT THAT INDICATES THE 8 & 9 SIZES.

Suntrust keep sending letters that took it off dispute cause I still have the item. I tried a whole bunch of times to send it back to seller but they got kicked off that site plus ebay and other company's. I DON'T WANT IT IF YOU WANT SUNTRUST I WILL GLADLY SEND THEM TO YOU THE SHOES.

ALSO IN THE PAST LIKE LAST YEAR SUNTRUST STOLE MY MONEY. I CALLED THEM UP SEVERAL TIMES TO LOCATE WHERE MY MONEY WAS AFTER THE EIGHT TIME THEY TOLD ME. At that time I opened up a saving account through the phone they asked me if I wanted to do a transfer I TOLD THEM I WILL GO INTO THE BRANCH FOR THAT. I DID NOT EVEN GIVE THEM MY OTHER ACCOUNT NUMBER. I ALSO DID NOT TELL THEM OR SIGNED ANY PAPERS TO TRANSFER MY MONEY TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT.
THEY TRANSFER EVEY LAST PENNY TO WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PR OMISSION. WHEN THEY DID THIS I CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND IMMEDIATELY TOOK MY OUT OF A CD THAT I HAD WITH THEM. CAN'T BE TRUSTED

credit me my 34.00
and improve your services and banking

Granted, this letter was not written well, but I believe the OP had a
legitimate issue. One of the benefits of a credit card is the ability
to dispute a charge (aka "chargeback") when you receive goods that are
not as described and attempts to receive a refund from the merchant
have failed.

This was not a case of buyer's remorse. The shoes were different sizes
and counterfeit.

This has been, by far, one of the most intertaining letters I have
read on PFB.

I have a few things to add.

First of all, for anyone who thinks this is the worst letter ever on
PFB...you obviously werent around during the "Manda" era. LOL!

Secondly..to the OP:

You keep assuming that everyone who doesnt agree with you obviously
doesnt have a credit card..as well as no life.

Yet what you are failing to understand here is that it is beyond
obvious to everyone BUT YOU that YOU are the one who has no clue how a
credit card works.

Let me give you an example of when a credit card company with
reimburse you. A few months ago someone got hold of my credit card and
bought songs from an internet site. It wasnt me so I called my c.c.
company and had the number on my card cancelled and a new one sent out
and I filed a dispute with them. After investigating the situation
they gave me my money back.

They will NOT reimburse you for buyer's remorse.

Online auction sites are a gamble at best. Sometimes you get a really
great product at a great deal and sometimes you loose your money. The
only one I remotely trust is EBAY and even then I dont order anything
from anyone unless I check them out really well.

You took a chance, you gambled, and you lost. I hope YOU learned your
lesson as you are so apt to tell everyone else. You are the one who
made the mistake here, not the people who replied to your letter and
not the credit card company.

Its amazing to me that not one single person here agreed with you yet
you still think you are right. Fact is, you couldnt be more wrong! Yet
you choose to ignore the facts and you have done nothing but insult
those trying to help you out.

The only thing you have done here is proven yourself to be highly
ignorant about many things.

I sincerely hope that you calm down and open your mind so you can
understand the inner workings of a credit card, online shopping, and
how to interact with your fellow human beings.

That was a well versed break down of the OP screwed line of
reasoning...Kudos!

T D understanding that should be as easy as point & click BAM! you
have a new pair of $34 knockoffs...enjoy the purchase.

OR

Better yet OP, since you dont want the shoes & you are obviously stuck
with the purchase, why not turn the experience around & bring the
shoes to goodwill. You never know who you may help out by providing a
pair of shoes (not sure if they are heels) to a woman in need.

SUNTRUST CHANGE OVER TO FIA CARD SERVICE by T D Wed October 10, 2007 @ 3:20 AM

by Harleycat Posted Tue October 2, 2007 @ 9:46 AM

O.K. Hulkamania..

Let's see if we can explain this to you in simple terms.

You transacted with someone for some LV shoes and used your Suntrust
card to pay for them. So Suntrust sends this person $34 and they send
you merchandise. (Yes, we know it was not as depicted)

Suntrust then sends you a bill for $34. So, technically, they are the
go between in this transaction.

You try to return the merchandise so that Suntrust could get their $34
back but the seller has disappeared off the face of the earth.

You, again, ask Suntrust to act as a go between to get your money
back. They also cannot find the seller so they can't get your money
back. So, now, you want Suntrust to give you your money back but they
won't.

Why won't they you ask? Because if they did, they would be out $68.
They paid the seller $34 and now you want them to pay you $34.

By your thinking, you think the only one who should lose in this is
Suntrust. That makes no sense. You entered into this transaction not
them. They were only the go between.

This letter is a bit hard to follow. These letters do get sent to the
companies. They are very unlikely to take this as seriously as you
would like them to because the letter is poorly written and hard to
follow.

Typically you dont want to use ALL CAPS when writing a business
letter. Also the tone of the letter is very unprofessional and pretty
condescending.

When I was a store manager, letters like these were discarded. You can
still get your point across that you are upset in a polite way. This
letter makes you appear irrational and almost hysterical.

From what i can gather from your letter, the bank is right, and they
are just following policy. You can't just dispute charges because you
feel that they are wrong. If you still have the item you paid for then
you have no grounds for disputing a charge.

Please, take about 10 minutes, calm down, and re-write this letter as
if you have a little bit of common sense. Your account is YOUR
responsiblity. You should have expected a scam on the shoes if it said
they were only 34.00, think about it, you can't even get REAL Nike's
for that price... just go by this simple rule, if it sounds too good
to be true, chances are... it is.

Good Luck none the less.

Seems to me your beef should be with ioffer.com, not with Suntrust
unless they are somehow affiliated with the ioffer website. I don't
know of any credit card company that would let you keep the
merchandise AND take the charge off. Seems like ioffer.com does not
have the same buyer safeguards in place that e-bay does. I would have
been very suspicious of anyone selling Louis Vuitton shoes for
$34...no way those would have been genuine for that price.
I'm not clear about the other part of your complaint. You opened a
savings account on the phone and they transferred money without your
permission or without you giving the the other account number. What
was the other account? Checking? another savings account? a CD?
You really need to clarify your complaint a bit more there. If they
just transferred the money to another account in your name it wasn't
stolen, just moved....unless they emptied your checking account and
thereby caused you to have bounced check fees. I don't see how they
could have done that without your permission...there are certain rules
that need to be followed and most calls of that sort are recorded for
customer safety and you should have received a confirmation that the
transfer was made.

I realize I'm beating my head against a wall here - - but no credit
card company in the world is going to not hold a customer responsible
for a $34.00 charge for an item they bought from an auction site that
the seller won't accept as a return. It just isn't going to happen
and you need to get over yourself and accept the fact that you gambled
and lost and it's no one's fault but your own.

Ok, I'm not going to comment on grammer and spelling as I think that
you already have an idea from the others of how to write more
effective letters. I will however give you a useful piece of
information. Louis Vuitton NEVER and I mean NEVER sells items at a
discount or through sellers other than the trusted merchants listed
their website www.louisvuitton.com. I can guarantee that you will
never be able to buy a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes for $34 either. Did
you really not expect these to be counterfeit? I think that you knew
full well that you were purchasing an illegal knock off and because of
that you deserve what you got.
