What a glorious day, I saved the cash from my slush fund and bought both my kids iPods for Christmas, even got them engraved with their names. Now I need to save some more cash to buy them some iTunes Cards.
I also came to the realization that I spend way too much time on this site.
I have therefore decided to move on for good.
If any of the HATERS or SCABS takes the opportunity to antagonize me via this post, I shall return with a vengeance. The ball is in your court!
In conclusion:
Sioux Fan I wish you the best in your studies, I think you will make a great pharmacy technician, just be yourself and don't let anyone tell you what is and what isn't right. Follow you own heart.
Erik I claim Victory, pack up my army and head home to the victory parade.
Motorcycle Lady I know you secretly like me, it okay!!
Flea Keep up the good fight!
To the rest of you SCABS, take a deep breath, this is only a webpage, take it down tomorrow and the sun will continue to shine and the birds will continue to sing. Is it really worth all the grief?
Feel free to contact all the "regulars" who ran off with their tail between their legs and invite them back.
To Quote a Leader: Mission Complete!

As funny as it seems, I originally used this site to send a letter to Continental Airlines, I still have their e-mail response with a ticket number, but nothing more. Then I made my big mistake... I sent a letter to Target inquiring about the Salvation Army... Game On!
I applaud the administrators for their support of my post and I thank them for the outstanding site they maintain. I only wish everyone took such a balanced view of my writings instead of reading them through venomous filters.
I think it is a fair assessment that my letters made a difference and I made A LOT of valuable inputs to the letters of others, but a certain group of "haters" provoked me at just about every turn. Take the time to read and you will see that most of my writings are in response to a vicious attack or un-called for name calling. I surely didn't start the rants, but I had no problem joining the festivities. Funny thing, someone starts a thread, then gets mad when I don't roll over and accept their comments. Not Gonna Happen!
I have one more letter to write, a NASCAR letter to Bass Pro, and then I have better things to do. Actually my job is taking me away for a few months and I will have limited access to the net, but don't despair my friends, I will be back to ring in the New Year.
Can't wait til' February, the start of the new NASCAR season, I am already working on my protest letter to whatever company sponsors Michael Waltrip!!

It begins with a simple letter to Target asking a question about the Salvation Army, a letter which generated 122 responses, mostly negative. Had I known what I know now, I would have just written a letter and dropped it in the mail.
This site provides a good service and an easy way to contact companies, but it has probably migrated into a statistic gathering device instead of the "voice it was intended to be.
I admit I got wrapped up in the game as well; I couldn't wait to "hammer" a letter writer or comment on a post. My level of one-upmanship grew to an embarrassing level.
I started writing letters with good content, but crafted them in such a way that they were sure to cause controversy, and it worked for a while. Not only was it fun, but it was a bit therapeutic.
Suddenly, I am banished and no one wants to post to my letters, this only gives me cause to post to other letters, and I post some doozies. Think of it as, when a door is closed, a window is usually opened or water always flows to the area of least resistance.
I have been referred to as a slack jaw, a yokel, a bumpkin, an idiot, an a-hole, etc.... Most of this was directed at the name I created, but a lot was probably personal attacks. I am amazed at the level of hatred generated by simple letters.
I have one suggestion. When a OP is creating a letter, he/she should be queried about their interaction with the manager. I can't start to count the number of responses that begin with "did you speak to a manager?"
I find that I am spending way to much time on this site; I am not leaving, but I am no longer going to fill this site with my writings, it just isn't worth it any longer.
I do wish you all well and urge you to examine your personal post over the past month or so and ask yourself "am I being helpful or spiteful?"
For the record, I posted on 57% complaints, 35% compliments, and 8% questions; 23 letters with only 2 responses. One from Domino's and one from Target; I recommend you patronize these stores.
For all of you that think I am an uneducated hick; I have a college degree, as does my wife, I have made life/death decisions throughout my career, in 2005 & 2006 I made 36 platelet donations to a blood donation center, look up platelet donation on google to see what a huge commitment this was. I honestly feel as though my platelets saved lives. I don't let my kids kill anything they aren't prepared to eat, I believe every living creature has a right to live until it is ready to enter the food chain. Yes, I catch bugs in my house, but I always take them outside and let them go.
I have one more letter to write, then I am going to make cameo appearances, not the daily barrage I am known for.

My letters to Target gets results, I guess this is a big disappointment to all the "haters" that frequent my writings!
Dear Cletus Johnson,
Thank you for contacting Target Corporation via PlanetFeedback with your suggestions for our stores. Robert Ulrich, Chairman and CEO, has received a copy of your e-mail and has asked me to respond on his behalf.
We appreciate your feedback about our pricing, Food Avenue, and shopping cart design. I will be sure to share your comments with our Store Operations team.
We always welcome your feedback, so if we can assist you in the future, please contact our Target Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. You can also speak with a team member at the Guest Services Desk at your local Target store, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we are all here to help!
Thanks for shopping with us. I hope we will see you again soon at Target.

I wrote a letter to Domino's Pizza and a lot of the "regulars" here immediately attacked, but I get results!!
Cleatus -
Thank you for contacting Domino's Pizza...
Wanted to make you aware that we have announced we will be departing Michael Waltrip Racing effective following the 2007 season.
I have included our press release for your reference.
As of now, we have yet to decide on any team partnership for NASCAR in 2008 -- although we will remain the OFFICIAL PIZZA OF NASCAR all season..!
Thanks again for contacting Domino's. Hopefully this helps answer your question.

Domino's Pizza and Michael Waltrip Racing to Part Ways After 2007
Domino's Remains "Official Pizza of NASCAR®" Through 2008 Season
ANN ARBOR, MI, Sept. 13, 2007-Domino's Pizza (NYSE:DPZ) and Michael Waltrip Racing have announced their intentions to part ways after the 2007 season following Domino's first season as primary sponsor of the #00 Toyota entry in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.
The #00 team has been under the ownership of first-year team owner Michael Waltrip, and led by rookie driver David Reutimann who currently sits 40th in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series points. Domino's Pizza will continue its sponsorship as the "Official Pizza of NASCAR" through the 2008 season.
"We are thankful for the efforts of the entire MWR team, and appreciative of our 5 year relationship with Michael Waltrip," said David Brandon, Domino's Pizza Chairman and CEO. "He has been a great brand ambassador and partner, and has been instrumental in connecting Domino's with NASCAR fans. We wish him and the entire MWR team well as they continue to work towards success in this highly competitive sport."
Reutimann qualified for nine of 12 races with Domino's as primary sponsor, with the team failing to qualify for the NNCS races at Las Vegas and Bristol last March. After a strong practice session at Texas Motor Speedway last April, the weekend qualifying session was rained out, forcing the field to line up based on points - and sending the #00 team home for the weekend. However, Reutimann generally outperformed other Toyota drivers, and showed promising ability with some strong runs - including a 13th place finish at Richmond earlier this month.

This person has demonstrated he has has nothing to offer here, and that he would like to use the site in a very selfish manner. First he says (in the Target stole $35 letter reply maybe a week ago) that "Target is the worst store on earth." Yesterday he said he will plan to shop at Target this Christmas season, in a *letter* to Target. A poorly written letter, with an offhand reference to the pharmacy. No supporting interaction or experience, just a comment. He also said he was leaving here for good, and came back a day later. His words mean nothing. I trust not many people here have any use for such a person's presence.
He is clearly trying to manipulate this site to his own purposes - get attention. He wrote that particular letter (and others) just to see them in the top whatever list. He admits that above. This isn't a place to play such juvenile games. The site has a much grander mission - allow consumers to send meaningful comments to companies. The "reply" function doesn't interfere with that in any way. The companies don't see the replies, unless they have a lot of time on their hands and come here to look for them. It does allow people with valid complaints to get assistance from people who go out of their way to research companies and policies, and then post a response. People with baseless complaints or bad attitudes are not treated with kid gloves. You are right about that. A lot have worked as CSR's, and have dealt with this stuff all day. So they have a nose for what is right and what isn't. There are cases of "high fives", which I guess is somewhat human nature. My first letter had a response like that, but I didn't take it personally. I lurked sometime more and figured out that people are really very helpful here.
However, if a person wants to come here and act like an ass, he/she will be treated like an ass. I don't know about you, but I show little attention to my ass. Except, of course, when I am dressing up for my ass clown routine.

It seems as if everyone dislikes what I post, but these same people can't wait to read and post comments, sounds like a double standard, BUT
I have decided to abandon my contributions to this site, the people that post here need to contact Jerry Springer, it would make a great show.
I hope all you Ass Clowns (AC) enjoy wallering in each others filth, as for me, I wipe the stench and move on to better things.
This has nothing to do with the urgings to leave, I have just become bored with the format. Look for my book!
Oh, and when the traffic drop too low on this site, the administrators of PFB have my e-mail, they can always invite me back...
Good Day Skeezers!

I don't see a need to wait until Friday to make the announcement.
I want an award and I could care less what some foul-mouthed troglodyte has to say.
To those of you that are civil, thanks for showing that our educational system does work for those of us that put in a modicum of effort.
