Men Pay Homage to the Silk Worm

Posted Fri November 9, 2007 11:40 am, by Jonas G. written to Fredericks of Hollywood

Write a Letter to this Company

I need to begin my letter with a bit of a disclaimer. I am a happily married man. My wife looks very good in your products, and according to her, so do I.

I have been wearing your products for about 5 years now. I used to wear my wife's clothes, but good home cooking and two kids have taken their toll; as a result, we are no longer the same size. After a long discussion, we decided that I should begin shopping for my own undergarments. The problem is that your store and website are very un-man friendly.

I still have man-britches that I wear when I am going to the doctor or bowling, but my collection of silky undergarment needs some freshness added to it. I took a chance once and wore a pair of your silk undergarments fishing; I caught the biggest fish of my life! My buddy attributed it to my lucky hat, but I know it was my "lucky" lacies.

I have some suggestions that you may want to consider to make your store more man friendly.

Make your store more man friendly and accessible. Avoid putting you stores in close proximity to sporting goods stores and soft pretzel kiosks. Set aside a portion of your store for your male customers.

Have you considered men for your website? We like the ladies, but it would be nice to see how they fit on us as well.

Marketing is key! Have you considered hiring on some big names in the industry to sell your products? I for one would like to see normal guys such as Drew Carey, Jimmy JJ Walker or even Larry Bird wearing your products in magazines, on TV or even the Big Screen.

I like most men with a few extra pound consider myself an A-cup, maybe you could start there.

Please consider my recommendations, I love your Teddies and don't want to settle for anything less than Frederick's of Hollywood Quality.

Wow, good for you and your honesty! I think it's a good idea, after
all it's the 21st century now, there are probably plenty of men that
would think that is a good idea.

Sorry to say, but this is still considered a bit taboo. But I have
heard of other men liking to wear womens undergarments, so you arent
the only one. (and dont let people tell you your sick, your sex life
is your business ;D)

But, since it is a very small percentage, (or a small percentage that
will admit to it) I dont think they want to risk alienating the
"normal" people.

Oh well. Nice suggestion letter though. I think, as far as
web-ordering goes you are just going to have to get your measurements
and go from there. There are probably sites out there that will help
you determine your sizes.

I'm sorry in advance if this is a serious letter but I had to chuckle
when I read some of it.

...do you?

The TOS clearly states that you are not to register as another person,
real or fictional.

You registered as a fictional person.

Jonas, maybe... maybe not.

Why is it that every letter with a bit of humor is immediately
attribute to Cletus?

I can hardly keep up with my own letters, much less the letters of
someone else.

Allow me to explain one thing, I only used the name Fred Flintstone
because I thought everyone had a fake name here.

Besides, who in the world knows the real name of Gilligan and his crew
anyway? I always thought he was Alan Hale??

I'm sure you can find some websites showing men in ladies underwear.

Oh, any by the way...

Unless you have an incredibly good sense of humor about your name, I
find it interested that your real name is "Jonas G." and your avatar
shows someone named "(Skipper) Jonas Grumby."

Seems like someone else (Clete) found it funny to come here a register
as a classic TV character (Fred Flintstone). Same as you.

Hmmmmm....

Wanna come clean? You're not on the level, are you?

I'll assume that you're telling the truth.

If that's the case, you fail to make your point because of your
attempt at humor.

In fact, it's clear from the way you've written this letter that you
are lying.

Are you unaware of the fact that you can buy men's underwear made of
silk and satin?

Umm, I don't think he's interested in "Men's" silk underware by MA Loper Fri November 9, 2007 @ 2:44 PM
