I agree that you can probably still try to get a card, but I think YOU need to be the one to take the initiative and call THEM. They are NOT going to call you. If you want a CC from THEM, call them. Clearly they already determined they do not need to kiss your ass, for your business. Take the responsibility and call them, and figure out a way for them to want to give you a C.C

I don't get your point at all. Denied is denied. Hey.....try using some periods in your letters next time. You might get taken more seriously if you do.

Besides that I think this is a very poorly wirten letter...is it just me that doesn't understand why people write letters to banks regarding the denial of a credit card.
Maybe someone canm explain what I'm missing...

Actually it was fraud, not done by me so I resent that comment. I have rebuilt my credit and continue to do so every month by paying my bills. As I said in my letter I want a chance to continue to build my financial relationship with Citibank so I can better my chances in the future for a mortgage. Thank you for your comment

First of all, the few times I have spoken with CSR's regarding credit eligibility, they have been very professional and knowledgeable. Therefore I find "rude and ignorant" a curious decription. I hope the rep wasn't described this way because you didn't get the answer you wanted.
Second, I suggest you write to PFB and have them remove your phone number from this website. When you wrote your letter, you forgot to delete this information when given the opportunity.
