Turn off your caps lock key when typing a letter to a company. It is totally unprofessional & is the equivalent of yelling.
When the company sees this letter typed in all caps, they will probably do as I did: leave it without even reading it.

You say that you left and then called the manager. The best option would have been to ask for the manager right there in person and explain the situation. There is a good chance you could have gotten your order with the points you had, based on the misinformation that was given to you and the inconvenience that you experienced.

You may have a valid complaint, but your letter is very difficult to read due the fact that the entire letter is in all CAPS. Honestly, I didn't even bother to read it, and I'm sure they won't read it either.

Do you just sit at home and write complaint letters? Between this and your other letter it sounds like you want free stuff.

Invisible customers don't count? That seems awfully arbitrary of you to make that pronouncement. I, for one, am offended.
Power to invisible customers! Just because we're invisible doesn't mean we don't have feelings!

Ok #1-the race card is WAY overrated, so DROP that right now. What does being pregnant have to do with ANYTHING on WASTING time? And about the stupid comment.. I'm on the edge about that one........

I really couldnt bring myself to finish reading your letter. Sorry!
You would get better results if you took your own letter seriously. You can get your point across without typing in all caps and throwing around accusations of lying and racism.

Nalo,
Seeing your letter just reminded me that I had recieved an email about this program just last week. Just in case you didn't know this I wanted to share the following with you. I can just see your next letter written 4/2/08 I am angry I purchased food and did not get any Gold Points. I had to walk with my new screaming baby, who happened to have a dirty diaper, and then spent my money, and you didn't give me my points. You are thiefs. I might even call 911 and tell on you.
Anyway hope you earn some more points, and get your meal before you can't earn them any longer.
I too like to get my discounts/rebates/awards....I would be a bit irate if I went to the trouble to check prior by calling the location! Not sure what happened in this case...Isn't there a number you can call and check on the card? I know you can check total points online?
Important Message from Gold Points Rewards Network:
As announced by Gold Points®, the Gold Points Reward Network will change to a redemption-only program on April 1, 2008. Beginning April 1, you will no longer be able to earn Gold Points®; however, the Gold Points in your account will not expire. You may continue to redeem them at your favorite T.G.I. Friday's restaurant (for a limited time), as well as Gold Points catalog merchandise and gift cards by visiting goldpoints.com.

You might have a valid complaint, BUT:
1. There is a button next to the "a", called a "caps lock". Turn it off.
2. Don't play the pregnancy card. It has no bearing on your letter.
3. Don't play the race card. It also has no bearing, as you no have no proof that race plays any part in this. In fact, you come across as racist yourself, bringing the race of the employees into it.
4. Don't call people liars, or make other rude comments about the employees.
5. Proofread your spelling and grammar.

Contrary to what all they others say. It may not be an issue to them or even that employee BUT it IS how you felt.It is not unreasonable to expect to feel good when you leave a business. Especially, when there definitely was an error on their end.
If an employee makes you feel this way, it is the manager's job to resolve that & to keep you as a satisfied customer. Besides keeping you coming back --which you must do to accrue all those points-- to keep you from telling others (like here). A satisfied customer tells 3 people, a dissatisfied customer tells 3000!
I would guess if the manager handeled it with class and your interest in mind, we would not be reading this letter.
Not everyone is a write or a typist!
But I would suggest a letter to the district or regional manager (the manger's boss). Maybe you can look to others for help writing it in a way that may be more effective. There are a lot of resources here that can help with that.
State your case FACTS first, how the employee made you feel and the unresolved outcome. If there were other customers who witnessed it, that is important, too.

Oh good grief.
1) Drop the race card. It doesn't do any good. Did the server know what your race was when you ordered? I doubt it.
2) You can check your points by calling the number on the back of the card. So why didn't you do that?
3)Lose the caps! It makes your letter unreadable and really, just makes you look like a fool.
4) No location, no credibility.

"WHAT AM I INVISIBLE"
Actually, "Nalo" is Hawaiian for "to disappear."
Not making fun of your name, but simply pointing out the irony.

Oh Lordy; someone else pulling the "I'm pregnant" excuse. Good grief. As if this gives one entitlement....
(Before someone jumps on me, I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant and waddle like a dad-gum penguin, but I still manage to walk around without too much complaint!)
But, as regards the letter-- please remember that this is a business letter; all capital letters have no place here. Always remember to cool down before writing a letter as the facts get jumbled up in the "heat of anger."

If you were invisible, she wouldn't have told you that you didn't have enough points because either she wouldn't have known you were there or she would have been so unnerved by a voice speaking to her out of nowhere that she would have fled entirely.
And if you dragged out the "YOU ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS" thing as early in the conversation as you seem to be claiming, then I don't think we need to worry about you being invisible, a customer, or black: I think the main thing they thought you were was unreasonable.
Given that there's an obvious way to understand the facts you describe that doesn't involve bigotry, unless there are additional facts that make it seem as if bigotry really was involved it is probably not a great idea to bring it up. Discriminating against people on the basis of race is wrong. Accusing people of discriminating on the basis of race when they're not is also wrong. Accusing people of discriminating on the basis of race if you can't make a case for that being exactly what's happening makes people really uncomfortable because of the possibility that you are mistaken.
I think you'd be more likely to get your point across if you got rid of the capslock and just wrote something like "On Thursday evening I called the TGI Friday's at [address] in [city] to order some food to pick up. The woman I spoke to said I had enough points to get my food and I'd only need $0.49 for the sauce. When I got there, the woman I dealt with said that I didn't have enough points. I hadn't brought enough money because I thought I only needed $0.49. I'm pregnant and I only have a short meal break from work, so I wasn't able to go back and get my wallet and I finished my shift without lunch. I would like there to be some way that I could track my own points so that I can know for sure that I have enough money to buy my food when I go there on my meal break. Thank you."

This is a poorly written letter. Maybe you should have this letter pulled and re-write it, not in all caps, and put away the race card.
I'm sure you have a valid point in there somewhere, but it is hard to find.

The Race Card. It was hard to see, for all the unnecessary capitalization.
Does "Majority Hispanic" mean mixed race?
