Loyal customer ready to purchase TV - but unable to due to "system will not permit"

I identified a television that I wished to order, and applied for a circuit city credit card. I was approved for 1,000 and the TV cost was 1300 after tax. Unfortunetly there is no way for circuit city to use my newly approved circuit city card (with special financing) and another form of payment.

I even had a gift card that I received as a present, and their systems would like accept that and still allow me to use my newly approved card (which I applied for this purchase specifically) at the same time.

I was ready to purchase this item, and had cash in hand - and they refused to take it because "their system would not allow it" - the same item was even 200$ cheaper on amazon, but I wanted the interest free financing.. I would like circuit city to price match the amazon price and honor their financing for this TV.

Merchant wouldn't accept two credit cards, but they did accept a multiple gift cards. Worked like a charm. Reply
