Subway, You Have My Loyalty

Friday night at around 6:30pm my boyfriend and I decided to take advantage of your Five Dollar Footlongs promotion and headed to the south end/24th St Subway in Port Huron, MI. We go here all the time--sometimes with large orders--and the employees are always friendly and quick and the food is great.

This time, however, things were pretty chaotic. It was a Friday night and they had a promotion, so the line was out the door and many people had big orders. To make matters worse, their register decided to stop working, forcing them to use a plastic bin as a cash drawer and do all the records on paper.

These are no ordinary employees, however! Even in this kind of situation, they were fast, cheerful, joking amongst themselves and with the customers, and everything was stocked and fresh--even the cookies! Our subs (a meatball marinara and a teriyaki chicken) were great and we didn't even wait that long.

Just wanted to pass on this compliment, because I was really impressed with how well they handled such a tough situation. I have worked at Subway in the past, and I know how hectic it can get. You guys are awesome, and we will definitely be back!

It's great when employees can have fun and make a great time out of something potentially stressful. I love their chicken teriyaki sandwich.
