I'm sorry that happend and I'm sorry they wouldn't apolgize but I would have taken the check.
That's $340 more than you spent and we're not talking about a violation of one's personal body.
I'm sorry for all you've ever been through that's bad,can I have the check??
I'm kidding with you.If an apology is important to you, corporate shoud have given one. There no excuse for the way that guy spoke to you, guilt does make people defensive and the idiot could have saved his company a nice little bit of change.
Maybe he'll get a big juicy bug in his yummies one day!
I hope it works out to your liking :)

Last year I was at a McDonalds here in Louisville and witnessed domestic violence. I tried to help the lady that was being abused by her husband. The husband stood up and tried to hit me. I asked the manager to call the police and she said no she wasn't getting involved. I went outside and the man tried to run over me with his car, then the manager decided to call the police. McDonalds SUCK.

So you turned down the $350 offer because you are holding out for an apology AND $350. I would have gone for the cash, but everyone's different.

What's the going rate on the ever popular apology these days? $350 sounds like a pretty good return on a $10 investment.

I'm sure you've been told this in previous posts, but you really need to spell and punctuate correctly if you want anyone to take you seriously. It's very unprofessional and I'm positive that you can do better if you indeed write yet another letter about your deal with McD's.

I know an adult with Asperger (it's not Asberger--it's Asperger--if you had it, you'd know how to spell it). She's an excellent writer. Asperger is more about how you interact with other people, not about intellect and ability to master a language.
WE GET THAT YOU'RE NOT HERE FOR THE MONEY. You want your apology. Whatever. You won't get either if you keep jerkin' McDs around.

Big companies prefer not to apologize, it admits fault and may put them in a deeper situation for doing so.
The money offered is a lot for a fried bee, or even in place of an apology. However, it's not a lot to pay you to have you keep your mouth closed about the issue. Depends on how you want to look at it.
I do understand that it's about the principal of it, and you may have been insulted by the reason behind their offer since it didn't come with what felt like sincerity behind it. My grandmother got into a car accident 15 or so years ago in which she was hit by someone. Her rib cage broke and her heart stopped. It almost took her life. They (my grandparents) were considering it an accident and not going to do anything. However, the faulty driver's lawyer approached my grandmother with papers to sign off on, that stated she would not seek any damages, and Grandma was very insulted. My grandparents came from a different time and did not understand this suing thing, but this incident with the lawyer and the papers changed their mind, and in the end, did wind up suing which they have never done in their lives.
I understand to some degree how you felt. But if you aren't hurt or injured permanently, I think I'd either take the $350 or let it go. They are most likely not going to budge on this. They are protecting themselves is all.

or Lynn, or whatever your name is!
I understand that you CLEARLY have nothing better to do with your time than rant about the injustice that they didn't kiss your fanny over this, but the reality is that they aren't gonna.
You admit that you didn't sign that claim because you weren't willing to shut up and let it go. They offered you MUCH MORE than the incident was worth (IMHO) and your continual carrying on about it only makes you look more like an opportunistic gold digger than a vicitm. I'd have been curt and irritated with you too!
You angled for a windfall and screwed it up by pushing it too far. Lesson learned and move on with your life.
You can't get anymore honey outta this bee.

It was just a bee. I've had bugs in my food at the fanciest of restaurants. I didn't get offered $350.00. It HAPPENS! It even happens at home!
Yes, they should have just refunded your $10.00 in the first place but you really are taking this too far!

What, $350 isn't enough of an apology?
And, please, learn the difference between "excepting" and "accepting".

A genuine, timely, heartfelt apology isn't going to happen. The Great Central Argonaut group can go back to whatever it is The Great Central Argonaut group does. You refused the $350.00 offer and no higher offer seems to be coming along. Is one bee worth all this drama?
