The Worst Customer Service

I called and order a pasta meal 11.99 and a pizza with cheese and beef topping from the Pizza Hut in Mauldin, SC (PIZZA HUT #02284329Q34 MAULDEN SC) ! I order via online on Apr. 14, 2008 at 17:17:29 PDT. My total was 28.81. I was called 10 minutes after I place the order and the lady that called me stated she was a pizza hut employee and I place an order online. I told her I did she said that they didn't have breadsticks and wouldn't have any breadsticks they also didn't have beef topping. I asked her could I get any to substitute the products they didn't have. She stated no! I couldn't get a refund either because my credit card had already been charged. I was very upset.

I want some type of aplogy and credit for what I paid for.

Thanks for the adivce to EVERYONE!!! I called my credit card company
(PAYPAL CREDIT CARD) and they were soo rude. I decided to not even
worry about this whole incident. I don't want to fill like I'm
fighting over 2 bucks, I just feel like the customer service was soo
horrible.

Here, cehck it for yourself. Go thru the first few steps of writing a
letter. The below text shows up in bold red

Do not cut and paste from Microsoft Word or any other word processor -
you will get an error!

"I can feel your pain. Unfortunately it's not possible to cut and
paste from word processing programs. It IS possible to write your
letter in Wordpad (which is a plain text editor that comes with
Windows) and cut and paste from there.

Give it a try!"

This is from Greg a couple years ago now. However, that's not a help
since Wordpad doesn't have a spell check that I know of.

With that said, I think you are safe if you use MS Word but don't use
special formatting. I just did a post to my blog this way with no
problems at all.

they should be able to credit your card. It seems that on the phone
you should have had the opportunity to cancel the whole order. If
they told me I couldn't be credited for the part of my order they
would be unable to deliver, I would tell them to stuff their pizza
(just a little pizza humor) and demand the order be cancelled.

I am not sure why you agreed to accept delivery of part of the order
and pay for the whole thing, but assuming this is what happened, I
agree that what you should do is dispute this with your credit card
company. Tell them the PH delivered only part of the order you paid
for and refused to refund the amount for the remainder. Good luck.

You need to be more clear in your letter. Because of the way your
letter is worded, it sounds as if you did not receive any of your
order. In reality, according to your response below, you did receive
a major portion of your order. The quickest way to rectify this
situation would be to call and speak with a manager. Maybe one wasn't
available at the time that you called originally, but try again.

I agree with Casmly, but would also add that.. by Chris M Mon April 21, 2008 @ 3:56 PM

That you have to ask now, several days later, for a credit is
ridiculous. Did you speak with a manager? That seems to be the only
way to deal with this, other than to dispute it with your credit card
issuer.
