I am unhappy about the quality of my car and how the dearlership has handled my car.
On 3-11-08 I brought my car in for a leak in the trunk. The service advisor told me they couldn't find a leak, but they put epoxy on a seam. About a week later it rained and my trunk was still leaking. I gave my car back on 3-27-08. While my car was there they were to fix the leak, do an oil change and do a recall for the passenger airbag. While they had my car the dealership had an accident with my car. The rear corner panel needed bodywork. When I got my car back on 4-08-08, there was a scratch they caused and my spoiler had black goo-y stuff all around the seal to the trunk. It looked horrible. After a few days my car had a mildew & moldy smell. The service advisor said ther should've cleaned the carpets and didn't to bring it in. I gave my car back on 4-18-08 and they were to fix a scratch that they caused, fix my spoiler, do the recall they never did the last time, and fix the smell. They called and said they had to now replace the carpets cause they couldn't get the smell out. I get my car back on 4-30-08 and they still didn't fix the scratch, now my console and emergency brake were all chewed up and I felt like the smell was still there. The service manager said they would replace the e-brake and console and the smell was from the new carpet. I give my car back again for the smell on 5-02-08. While they have had my car two more leaks have arose. I had to goto my doctor because I had an allergic reaction to the mildew smell. I am allergic to mildew & mold. I have a ford customer care solutions person who I have been in contact with and I do not believe she is on my side, I feel like she is on the dealers side. I am supposed to get my car back 5-30-08. They will have had my car for about 56 days or more by the time I get my car back.
While the dealership has had my car it has had that mildew smell for about 40 days. I am concerned that they won't be able to get out all the mildew particles and I will get sick again from my car. I would like Ford to either give me a new car, or pay off my car so I can trade it in for a new one. And to pay for the items ruinded inside the car from the smell.
