When a cold shower doesn't help the situation

This is the second time this has happened in just a few months.
On Monday morning, after my workout, I went into the locker room and discovered that there was no hot water in the showers or sinks. As the gym is actually located by where I work rather than where I live, I didn't really have the option of going home to shower and make it to work on time (not to mention I really don't want to get in the car when I'm in gym clothes and sweaty). Consequently, I took the plunge into the cold water for a shower and a shave.
On Monday morning, on my way out, I mentioned to the front desk that there was no hot water. He, as well as the trainer, were quite surprised about it. I left, anticipating that something would be done.
On Tuesday morning I came into the gym and saw nothing on the door in the lobby to indicate there was a problem. The attendant at the front desk didn't mention anything about a problem with the facility. I probably should have asked, but I figured that, given that it's happened before, the club would make sure to let its members know of any problem. After my workout I was quite astonished to learn, once again, that there was no hot (or even lukewarm) water.
I won't dwell upon the fact that you have an issue maintaining hot water. That's between you and your contractors for the time being. Hopefully you're not trying to save money by just periodically shutting off hot water (which, I might point out, several people have mentioned in the locker room).
My concern is actually that, as in the previous occurrence, nothing was posted to alert members that there was a problem with the hot water. It seems that the clubs would rather people come in, work out, and discover the problem than be alerted to it up front. The members are left in the position of being required, each time they come into the club, to ask if everything is in working order: do we have a/c or heat? Do we have hot water? Do we have electricity?
Please do something about this horrible pattern of non-communication. Frankly, pizza night and bagel morning seem kind of silly when it's before or after a cold shower.
Enact a policy that any time a facility situation occurs which can impact the customer experience, a notice is place either on the door or in the lobby, so that the members can make an informed choice.
