Tire performance

Posted Tue August 26, 2008 11:51 am, by Gail M. written to Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc.

The Bridgestone tires (all four) on my 2008 Mazda CX7 are completely worn out at 20,000 miles. The performance of these tires is way below any tires I have aver purchased.

I would like a new set of tires.

They didn't give me anything. This is happening to all of the CX7s. I
am purchasing Goodyear instead of Bridgestone.

OEM tires are never the best although 20,000 is a little below normal.
The best you can hope for is a pro-rated amount towards new tires.
They are not going to give you a complete new set for free. You did
drive 20,000 miles on them.

Gail M.,

Tires are "rated" by manufacturer as to their "aniticipated life" in
terms of miles.

You might research that info as it pertains to your situation.

These were on a new car so you better hold onto your chair as you
might find out that they are Bridgestone Branded but quite low on
their mileage rating.

As far a a new set, the absolute best you can expect IMHO, is a new
set on a pro-rated basis.

Stop back and let us know how this shakes out.
