POSITIVE ADVERTISEMENT FOR WALMART

At times, any company is subject to negative reviews/feeling, so I have a suggestion to clean that up!
COMMERCIAL/ADVERTISING/ETC.
"SHOPPING AT WALMART...IS SHOPPING WALSMART!"
OR, any way you see fit to incorporate the word "WALSMART".
For the past five years I've made that suggestion. Now SOMEbody with any CLOUT...would see it's a WINNER!!
I am in the process of getting a patent on the word WALSMART...so, if you want to use it...and I think you SHOULD, call me. Also, I have copies of all my previous correspondence
making that VERY SUGGESTION..thru the years.

I personally don't think they'll go for it.
In all honesty.... the first thing that came to mind was.... "Shop smart! Shop S-Mart!"
I suspect the higher-ups at Walmart aren't going to adopt a slogan that makes people think of Ash.

Well, it did make me laugh my butt off. . . but I doubt that was the intended effect.

I don't know, I would imagine these people might have a problem with it.

I don't know about Wal-Mart, but most companies have a policy against accepting unsolicited advertising suggestions. In fact, many companies have a policy that if you write to them with a suggestion, they will not even acknowledge it.
The fact that you're seeking intellectual property protection for your idea is more reason for them to take the hard stance. By writing a letter like this (especially this one, which is publicly posted), you've established that it was your idea ("prior art"). To them, this means "stay away from this." It can also mean that they saw your idea in an earlier letter and have already registered this idea (as a service mark, not a patent) as their own.
Now, if they happen to think it's a winning idea, they might contact you to arrange to take over thing rights to it.

I think even those who run Walmart find this silly. They know shopping at Walmart doesnt remotely make one feel smart.
The only time I feel smart shopping at Walmart is when I leave my cart at the register and walk out, like I did, yet again, tonight.
It wasnt even busy in the store but they had almost no registers open. On a Friday night?! Most were the 20 items or less lanes. After waiting forever in a line that never moved, and seeing that the person at the front was find it hilarious that they were having problems and holding up the line, I walked out.
I hate Walmart with a passion. I had already refused to shop there anymore. Unfortunately, its closer than Target. The ONLY reason I went there tonight was to get bedding for my son's rabbit. Target doesnt carry that kind of thing. Thats the ONLY reason I went there over Target. I will just stick to PetSmart for my pet needs and Target or Winn-Dixie for everything else. I even have a 100 dollar gift card that I am considering giving away. THATS how much I hate Walmart.
The only thing smart about Walmart...it avoiding it.

This could be the reason why they've chosen not to use it (if they thought of it themselves already).

Please do not take this as being sarcastic because its not meant to be but do you not think that someone from their marketing/advertising division has not thought of this yet?
I mean its nice but since I do not shop WalMart very often it just would not get me to go there any more than I do...which is about 3 times a year.
But seriously...eventually you may come up with a slogan for another company. You seem to be pretty good at this.

This company is certainly a candidate for negative feelings and reviews. I have no idea how "WalSmart" fits into the WalMart experience, and maybe they don't either. You would think that after 5 years, if they were interested, you would have either heard from them or they would be using the term.
Patent: "The exclusive right, granted by the government, to make use of an invention or process for a specific period of time, usually 14 years." I don't see how you can patent a word. There would be all the diagrams, explanation of how it improves on the existing technology, etc.

I hate Walmart, but I like your suggestion. However, I don't think they take advertising suggestions from outside sources (except an ad agency). Most companies don't.

You could tailor the same notion to Wallgreens too but it's not rhyming.
