Is PlanetFeedback anti-gay?

We answered your question in our comment below so it is astounding you
claim not to know why your comment was deleted. In fact, let us point
out you've now repeated your point about if McDonalds isn't going to
support gay organizations then they should stop supporting African
Amereicans twice (both in your letter to us on the subject and this
comment) and we haven't deleted either.

Clearly the language you used in your original comment is the issue,
not the content.

I was unaware there was some moderation going on. I am glad to see
that happen.

I don't think the anti-gay letter should go but I didn't think my
anti-African American post needed to go either. It was obvious
sarcasm. The letter writer actually believes what his anti-gay
statements!

Your comment was removed because it went well beyond challenging the
letter writer's suggestion that a company stop supporting certain
organizations etc. Even though it was sarcastic, it could have been
easily misunderstood by the casual reader.

As for PFB being "anti-gay", nothing could be further from the truth.
You must not have read the other comments on Jerry's letter because
almost of all of them are "pro-gay" and none of those were removed.
To claim we are "anti-gay" just because YOUR comment was removed is
preposterous.

As for the letter itself, we do not require that folks who wish to
provide feedback to companies confine themselves to politically
correct topics. Even though the letter writer clearly expects
McDonalds to change their stance on this issue, his letter didn't
contain inflammatory or inappropriate language whereas your comment
did. We have tightened our moderation of comments considerably in the
past six months and we no longer allow commenters to attack letter
writers just because they dont like what the letter writer said.
