...and I'll echo what the other's said--Check your order before you leave the restaurant!
I'm not sure where your from so maybe Red Lobster is the best Seafood place in your neck of the woods, but I, for one, do not consider the food at Red Lobster to be of good quality. I guess I'm spoiled, in that I live right on the coast and quality seafood is not hard to find. I only go to Red Lobster once in a blue moon for their endless shrimp special.
Flounder is considered safe for pregnant women but I believe there is still small levels of mercury in it. I'd like to know why you drove 35 minutes to get take-out food? And even if the restaurant screwed up the order, I don't think you should be compensated for time and gas because even if the order was correct, the drive & gas used would of been the same.

Check orders, people, especially being a half an hour drive. It takes five minutes and it saves a LOT of trouble.
That being said, Red Lobster, in my experience, has never been a great eating establishment, but that might just be me spoiled by fresh Nova Scotian seafood.

ALWAYS check your food when getting carry out! It doesn't matter if it's McDonald's, Burger King, Red Lobster, or Outback Curbside. This is especially true if you live as far away as you say you do.
Yes, Red Lobster made a mistake, and for that, they should rectify the situation. However, I hope that you realize that assuming human error won't occur when filling an order is not only naive, but also a mistake on your part. There's no way they can or will refund you, or probably not even offer you replacement food now that it's 2 days after the fact.
As far as time and gas go, you chose to drive to a distant location. That is a personal choice, and not the fault of Red Lobster. Just remember if you choose to visit this location again, check your food before leaving. That way, you can show the staff that the order is wrong, while at the same time saving you the stress and anger of driving all the way home without the proper food.
I do understand your anger. However, it is rather foolish to believe that human error won't occur.

You are not getting a refund. You should have checked your order before leaving the restaurant.

are safe (and very beneficial) to eat throughout pregnancy as long as you do not eat it more than twice per week. Flounder is perfectly safe to eat even in the first trimester.
There are types of fish to avoid altogether during pregnancy, but flounder is not one of them.

You did do that didn't you? And where is this Red Lobster located? The company needs to know so they can bring this complaint to the proper restaurant.

Ugh. All of that food would be rather gross to eat, after a 35 minute drive home!
