Vegetarian burger needs coupons too

Where are the coupons for the vegetarian burger? It is a great burger, but all the Burger King coupons we receive are for their beef or chicken. Vegetarians like fastfood too. This is a great meatless burger and should be promoted more and we should be offered savings just like anyone else.

State in large text on your coupons that customers can substitute the Vegetarian burger on any of the Whopper coupon purchases.

If you order a veggie burger from BK, make sure they cook it on the
part of the grill where they don't cook the meat burgers. Most of the
time they just cook it on the same grill and the fat and grease from
the previous burgers seeps into the veggie patty and can make someone
who's not used to it sick. This happened to a vegetarian friend of
mine who discovered it when she watched them make it. Hopefully this
isn't standard procedure anymore.

At the Burger King I manage, we do not "grill" the veggie burgers,
they are heated in the microwave.

Are they giving you like lettuce instead of a patty or are they giving
you a meatless meat-like soy patty creation? If they are just giving
you lettuce, I can see you point. But if they are giving you some
un-meat patty creation, I would disagree with you.

Have you priced the cost of meatless burgers? They are not cheap by
any means. I carry Moringstar farms and Boca Burgers, and they are
quite expensive. Not comparable at all to Frozen Ground Beef
patties.

Good Day

You have a good point. Maybe they should have a coupon for buy any
sandwich, get one free. We got a coupon mailing too, and one is for a
double whopper...none of us can eat that much. I can barely finish a
regular whopper.

This is a great idea. The cost to the restaurant for veggie burgers
is pennies more however they're likely to make it up by pleasing a
certain segment of their customer base that isn't all that large to
begin with.
