Please stop gouging customers for breadsticks

I am writing in regards to the price of your breadsticks which are free for dine in (all you can eat) and $0.79 for two when going through the drive thru or purchasing take-out. I think that the policy of charging for what is free in the restaurant when doing take out is ridiculous. While I do not believe you should permit customers to get all they can eat for carry out, a reasonable number should be given for free with such a purchase(ex. 2 w/ meal purchase etc.). Without a doubt breadstick are Fazoli's "Signature" item, and charging such an exorbitant amount is ridiculous.
My suggestion to to lower the price for take-out, or offer one to two for free with a carry out meal purchase. $0.40 ea. is price gouging in my opinion.

While I understand their reasoning for offering them free to dine-in customers, I see nothing wrong with suggesting they offer a couple free with take-out as well. Bertucci's gives unlimited rolls for dine-in, but they always throw 2 or 3 in the bag when I get take-out.
Good letter.

Seems to me that a small paper bag(like a McD's french fry bag but longer) would suffice. These would be quite inexpensive compared to the minimum wage required to pay someone to walk around the restaurant with a basket of breadsticks.
I'm with Nate on this. Fazoli's could easily give out two breadsticks with a DT order that would qualify for unlimited breadsticks as dine-in. I know that when we dine in, we chow down on the "free" breadsticks and drink refills, and take the main dishes home for another meal. Fazoli's could toss in a couple of breadsticks for each DT/takeout meal, and end up ahead of the cost for dine-in. After all, someone who leaves with an order will not refill a soft drink 4 times, or request 16 breadsticks while drinking those 4 drinks.

The difficult part is determining what would be a fair amount for being free. I think by charging what they do for them, people will only purchase what they themselves will eat.
I think the price is fair.
Good Day
