No Mosquitoes Thanks to Off

Write a Letter to this Company

I recently purchased your new Off Clip-on Mosquito Repellent. I must admit I was MORE than a bit skeptical as to the effectiveness.

I consider myself a mosquito magnet. I live in a very wooded area and cannot enjoy my yard much even during the daytime. I get welts from the mosquito bites.

In order to be able to enjoy my gardens and pool, I have always had to liberally apply a spray on repellent. Consequently, as soon as I go inside, I must take a shower before sitting on furniture or playing with my pets.

I cannot put into words how amazed I am with this product. I have been able to go inside in shorts and a tank top, at dusk, near the edge of the woods without a SINGLE mosquito bite.

This has been for days not so this is not a fluke. I've tried it repeatedly just to be sure. I then went outside without it and within minutes I had been bitten.

I now carry one in my car and in my home (in case I go visiting and sit outside or take my dogs to the park for a walk).

Thank you SO much for this product. It is amazing and I really am thrilled that this product has come along. It is wonderful not having to douse myself in bug repellent to be able to enjoy the outdoors.

I give you an A++++++++++++, and then some, for this product.

THANK YOU!

Sincerely,

Laura

I am glad this product worked for you but for me it was if it wasn't
there at all. I even held it so it blew right on a biting mosquito and
it finally flew off after a few seconds while several more landed on
me on other areas! I am taking it back !

I work outside at a register too, and the mosquitoes have gotten bad
the last couple of weeks. The Off fan works GREAT. I saw them flying
around, but I didn't get bit. I even got one to give to my dad when
he goes up north to camp for father's day, since I can give it my
personal approval.

No strong odor, double great for folks who are allergic or sensitive
to sprays, wipes and lotions. Great product!

Thanks for the "review" of the product. Next time one of my clerks at
my store starts complaining about mosquitos I'll take one off the
shelf (and "expense it") and put it at the front counter.

I love it, too! Their OFF lanterns are also VERY effective. Great
products!

These also work great on the outside perimeter when sitting around a
nice campfire at night when camping. We found them to be very
effective when we went to a local campground to visit some friends
just last weekend. (I hate how the bugs bite ya right on the butt when
sitting around a campfire...LOL)
They even sell these at the "general store" at the campgrounds.
And, I did see them at Cosco last time I was there, only there were 3
boxes, two of which were already empty. So these must be the greatest
invention since regular repellants.

Cool! I'm going to Wonder Lake this summer in prime mosquito season.
The kiddo saw these in the store and wanted to give them a try, but I
was hesitant. But I may just give it a try... Thanks.

I will definitely have to give those a try. Mosquitoes seem to love me
for some reason or other.

I recently went camping with my parents and husband. The mosquitoes
were horrible as usual, they are New Hampshires state bird after all.
My Mum had purchased one of these products and had it clipped to her
sweatshirt as we were all sitting around the campfire. I found the
buzzing and whirring of this contraption to be exceedingly annoying.
I could only stand it for maybe five minutes and I'm usually a pretty
patient person. My Pops who can not wear anything on his skin do to a
rare form of skin cancer was excited to try it but now he refuses
because of the noise. Does anyone else find it annoying or did my Mum
somehow stumble unpon a defective one?

Noise from unit? by Laura1059 Tue June 16, 2009 @ 8:10 AM

Our units did not make any noise... by dulynoted (aka duttycalls) Tue June 16, 2009 @ 4:26 PM

Great review! Like some of the other posters, I am a mosquito magnet
as well. I will definitely be looking for this product.

When I first saw this product on television, my first reaction was to
wonder why no one thought of it sooner. Being a mosquito magnet
myself and despising the smell and feel of bug repellent so much that
I refuse to use it, this new item seemed like a perfect solution. I'm
so happy to hear that it actually works!

Interesting! I get HUGE welts from mosquito bites (so very
attractive, no?). I will definitely check this out this week when I
go to Target! I'm curious as to how it works.

One excellent mosquito/bug repellent that works naturally: Vanilla!
You can buy the biggest container of the cheapest stuff, soak a cotton
ball with it, and then rub it all over your skin. You end up smelling
nice and no DEET! However, the bugs often will still LAND on you,
they just won't bite you, because vanilla tastes like crap. Not
literal crap, as bugs don't seem to mind the taste of poop, but it is
so bitter tasting.

Vanilla is a great suggestion for the ladies, but what about us manly men? by Steve-OH Mon June 15, 2009 @ 7:49 PM

you want mosquito repellant - not people repellant! n/t =) by PepperElf Tue June 16, 2009 @ 9:21 AM

Exactly, Pepper. Being bite-free would be no consolation as I sit alone by Steve-OH Tue June 16, 2009 @ 10:28 AM

I think I'll get some as well.
Sounds like a good product.

As a mosquito magnet myself I was wondering about this product.
Thanks for the information, I think I'll buy a couple!
