It is up to the individual companies to reply.
Planetfeedback, while a valuable tool, is not the end all way to
communicate. If you are not getting the results you desire, I suggest
mailing a printed letter of complaint to the customer service
department, if an address is provided, or simply the corporate office.
Planetfeedback uses email and fax to forward letters to companies, and
in many situations, companies do not accept email, or they do not
accept email from third party sites. Another option is to go directly
to their website and see if a feedback form is provided.

Also, there are many companies that do not respond, but it is a lot
harder to not respond to an email sent to you by a consumer advocacy
website than a paper letter mailed and signed by your customer.

I guess I don't know...but the writer listed you as one of the
companies who has not answered him

I take it back...the letter write did not list PFB-someone else got
the info from their profile

It may be that whatever you requested in your letters the company
could not provide, or maybe it is simply a company that doesn't
respond to letters from PFB.

Referencing your letters, even though your profile is open and
everyone can see them, is frowned upon. Therefore I won't comment on
particular letters or speculate.

Since we don't know which sites have been blowing you off it's a
little hard to figure out if it's an anti-spam filter, corporate
policy, or just stupidity. Burger King, for instance, doesn't accept
complaint emails. If you have a customer service problem you have to
call them.

Another factor is the whole business of grammar and spelling.
Companies are less apt to ignore letters that use standard English
grammar and spelling. If the letter isn't easily comprehensible it
gets tossed in the bit bucket.

Then there are the companies that simply blow off any complaint not on
legal letterhead. I have many words for such companies, none of which
can be printed. Companies that ignore legitimate complaints end up on
my personal blacklist. The major retailer Barnes & Noble for
instance, is one that will have to work awfully hard to attract one
more dime from me.

Dont take it personal, ive written several letters and only got a
couple responses. PFB merely sends the letter to the company, its up
to them to read/respond as someone else said.

You might want to consider writing to the company directly.

PFB forwards the letters, but it's up to the company themselves if
they want to respond to any PFB letters.
