Disrespectful Employees at Taco Bell

On December27,2009 our family visited the Taco Bell in Covington Georgia. A millitary soldier placed his order and it was incorrect when he got it. He explained to the cashier she had made a mistake, when the shift manager talked to this soldier, she was very rude, and then over charged him. Our troops are fighting for our country, putting their life on the line and this is the respect they get... I am very dissapointed that Taco Bell would allow this kind of treatment towards a soldier. We should be proud of our troops and support them.

I think Taco Bell should give this soldier an appology and should look into their employees and not let this keep happening. I also think Taco Bell should support the troops and be thankful they are willing to fight for our couuntry, and Consider giving the millitary a discount on their food. Most of all let this shift manager go.

You'd have to pay me to go into a Taco Bell.

What makes you think that Taco Bell doesn't support the troops or are
not proud of them? A mistake was made.

Every time I go to TB, and ask for NO tomatoes on my daughter's food,
they put them on it anyway. I have it re-made. Actually there was
one time where I had to have it remade twice! They put tomatoes on
the gordita and I asked them to re-make it, they did and I will darned
if they didn't put them back on it! I was like "what part of NO
tomatoes don't you understand?" Now I watch them make her food (she
is highly allergic to tomatoes) and if I see the hand stray toward the
tomatoes, I say something. I can not go through the drive thru if I
am ordering her something. Do I think its because my car has a post
sticker on it? Nope, I think its because, the ones who are making the
food are not paying attention to what they are doing. They make the
food by rote, they do the same thing over and over and over again and
when someone asks for something different, they mess up.

I do not think that the manager deserves to be fired. She like you
makes mistakes and I don't think you would appreciate being fired for
making a mistake now would you? And did you know that most places, if
you ask if they have a military discount, they will give you %10 off?
It also depends on if its a military community. Most area with a lot
of military in them, do tend to cater more toward the soldiers and
will give discounts if they are in uniform.

It doesn't matter what your job is, military or not. Rude service is
never acceptable.

I doubt the TB employee singled out the solider. I suspect she's rude
to customers 99% of the time.

How would they be able to appologize? They have no way of finding this
guy.

I agree they are probably just rude to everyone.

Im pretty sure they are rude to everyone, his uniform has nothing to
do with it.

I would be against giving a discount to the military

If you look at the police force, who gets a lot of free food at
places, they dont need to be eating the junk food.

Good Day

How was the shift manager rude, and how did she overcharge him by Steve OH (IO) Mon December 28, 2009 @ 11:10 AM

OP said, "Should not LET this keep happening". A bit of a difference.
It is an assumption, like the majority opinion, that the shift manager
is rude to everyone, I am guessing.

before, right? If not, I think she would have said "Should not let
this happen again". Who is making the assumption? The OP for
assuming it has happened more than once?
