Rebate problems

Based on my experience dealing with Sears.com, I would not recommend any purchase anything from them that requires submitting for a rebate.
I purchased a Dryer from Sears.com, purchase date 2/22/2009. Part of my decision to purchase from Sears.com was that they were offering a rebate $75.00 for the installation costs (which were $149.00).
I submitted the rebate information with a submission date of 3/17/2009.
On 6/9/2009 I received an email stating that Sears.com was unable to process my rebate because my submission "does not match our sales data."
Over the next several days I spent about 3 hours on the phone with reps at the Sears.com rebate call center. I was dropped several times. Sent to other phone numbers. Forwarded to people who did not pick up the phone, etc. I finally got someone who was able to help me and said Sears.com had made a mistake. She promised that the rebate would be sent out in a few days.
Well, I waited and waited and on 9/28/2009 received another email that said Sear.com was unable to process my rebate because my submission "does not match our sales data."
At this point, I was very angry. But I did not have time to spend 3 hours on the phone again--with little hope of getting results. I'm glad I found this site. If this doesn't get the response I need I will submit a claim to the Minnesota State Attorney General's office for deceptive marketing practices.
Provide me with the $75 rebate as promised.
