Last time I checked, the United States did not have an official language.
That "great melting pot" and all that.

The simple fact is that Spanish was spoken here in North America before the English even arrived. By the time of the American Revolution, St Augustine Florida had been established for 211 years.
Here's a breakdown of the languages spoken in the United States and its territories:
Native American languages: 10
Pacific Islander: 5
European: 15
Middle Eastern: At least 3
Asian: At least 6
Please explain to me how it is insulting for a nation founded by immigrants to advertise to immigrants in their own language?

we have a high spanish population and in certain parts of town every single billboard is in spanish. I kinda like it, I have actually picked up a lot of spanish by reading signs and such.

I disagree with you 100% with everything you've said.
That is all.

think Harland only wanted his chicken to be consumed by English-speaking Americans. He did live in Canada for a while, so I guess he was opening his arms to North America one country at a time. Maybe he would have moved to Mexico if he hadn't kicked the bucket (ouch).
