Please stop with the harassing calls!

My fiance and I were getting sick of paying close to $70 a month just for cable alone, so we decided to call Dish Network and DirecTv for prices and packages. We almost instantly decided no on DirecTV, as they quoted us at $65/a month. Dish Network gave us a quote of $39.99/a month, which we could do, however, they required an "activation fee" of $99 plus the first months bill, which we can't afford. Money is tight and we have a 2 year old, who's needs come first.
We thanked the customer service rep, and told him when we had the extra money that we would call back and sign up. This was this past Thursday, 4 days ago.
In just 4 days, your Customer Service Reps have called us 19 times! Just this morning, you called us at 10:14, and by 10:20, we had recieved 5 calls from you! We have already told the CSR that when we have the extra money, we will sign up with you.
Please stop calling! If the activation fee was waved, we could sign up today, however, that's not going to happen. We understand you would like a sale, but calling and harassing future customers is NOT the way to go!

Are these calls recorded messages or are they from a live person? If they're from a live person, tell them you want to be taken OFF their calling list. If you tell them to take you off, by law, they have to.
If they're recorded calls, unfortunately, there may not be much you can do.

I would join the chorus of people saying you don't need to get satellite tv.
If the bill is $40 a month, and outlaying an initial $99 is a budget breaker, that sounds like you are cutting it too close.
If you really want to get them off you back, change "We'll get it when we can afford the activation fee" to "We have no interest whatsoever in your product." Just a thought.

to the inconsiderate (word not included for decency's sake) that would call my former place of work and assault my eardrums with rattling potato chip bags (your bluetooth picks up that sound better than you think), car windows rolled down, screaming infants, barking dogs, bowls of cereal (like hearing someone grinding rocks in your ear) etc. Too bad they didn't let me. I bet some of these butts were telemarketers.

Before you sign up with them check the reviews on thier "39.99" deal. By the time everything is said and done it ends up being around $60.00 unless you watch very little TV with no DVR.
Plus do you really want to be with a company that harrasses's you and doesnt stop when you ask them to?

If money is tight as you state, you dont need cable or satellite imho.
