have someone who knows computers work on it for you.

there's ways to disable background programs from starting.

the only reason i'm not stating how to do it here is cos... if you
don't know what you're doing you can really screw up your system

Go to www.bleepingcomputer.com, set up a free account and ask how to
remove the program this is a free web site once you establish your
account.

Adobe makes some very fine software, but I have had problems getting
it installed (and uninstalled) sometimes.

I have never had a problem with Acrobat or Photoshop (great programs)
but I have had trouble with Shockwave and Flash. I spent months
trying to get each installed/uninstalled properly in multiple
instances back around 2004-5 timeframe, had tech support trying to
help, the Adobe message board family (many had the same problem). It
was a nigthmare, and I still get nervous when I am asked to update one
of them.

Photoshop is simply an awesome program. I was fortunate enough to be
able to teach using it back in 2000-2002. I have also used
Illustrator, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver - all excellent programs.

I hope you find a solution.

Adobe makes some of the best software on the planet. As one who uses
Photoshop and the full version of Acrobat I can tell you that both
work 100% and I have never had either crash.

In fact my CS3 and 4 were both trials first then paid for.

Going to the folder or the start menu folder and clicking uninstall
works. I have never known an adobe product to leave any residual
programs after an uninstall.

The reason you get the adobe thing pop up when you open a PDF is
because you havnt uninstalled it properly.
