Pubic Hair in Food

After some order confusion, I drove away from the restaurant to find A VERY OBVIOUS pubic hair in my food. I called, upset, to complain and the manager basically told me it was my pubic hair and that I should eff off.

I talked to customer service, who are going to send me an apology letter and a gift certificate for a "free meal", and that the restaurant will be going through "customer service training". I wish they were all fired though :(

FYI... tampering with food like that is a felony punishable up to 10
years.

How do you know it was pubic? It could have come from a lot of places,
and why would they want to take their pubic hair and put it in your
food? It's not like your food is generally exposed to that area.

"waiter! this finger has a hair on it!" by Chadg Tue May 25, 2010 @ 12:41 PM

im curious how you know it was a pubic hair... many people have head
hair or beard hair that is "short and curly" It is disgusting
regardless of its origin, but i think its far more likely that it just
fell from someones beard, other employees would have noticed an
employee pulling a hair from there to put on your food. calling for
firings is a bit excessive imo, and i think, i doubt anyone planned
for a hair to land in your food.

comes up every so often. There was a pubic hair in my [soup, food,
drink, ...].

And pretty regularly the question comes up as to how it was known to
be a pubic hair.

As it is, it probably always will be, if people continue to have hair
and it falls out.

If the esteemed Clarence Thomas fell victim to this, one might imagine
it will keep happening.

This is why I dine only at restaurants that require all food
preparation employees to shave their crotches.

This topic has popped up a few times. I really don't think it matters
what kind of hair it is. Hair is hair, and it can be filthy or clean
regardless of where it somes from. But it doesn't belong in there.

I think a fair compensation is a free meal, which is what you got.
You shouldn't be told to "eff off". It sounds like the manager will
be getting trained about that.

I am reminded of an independent Italian restaurant I ate at once. As
I finished, I found a dead bug in my meal. I brought it to the
manager's attention, and she accused me of putting it there because
"we don't put bugs in our food."

Needless to say, there wasn't much of a tip and I never went back. She
may have thought I was trying to get compensation, but I just thought
they should know what was happening.
