manufacturing equipment got messed up, and yours happened to be from a
bad batch...

I had Jimmy Dean bacon once, and didn't like it. I can't remember why
not.

I am not consuming bacon currently, but your letter makes me want to
go out and get some. And then save the fat and cook other stuff in

Is not the Jimmy Dean package see through somewhere, like most bacon
packaging? You can usually tell what you are going to end up with by
looking at the meat and the thickness.

and all that has been said to be bad for you for years. Hotdogs cause
cancer, bacon clogs arteries, ham is bad etc.

Anything in moderation is fine, I for one eat bacon once a month if
that. Every other morning I eat a banana. If my body cant handle a
few pieces of bacon one sat a month there is something wrong.

Its when people over endulge in anything that all of a sudden its an
epidemic and bad for you.

Then you read about the one guy who lives to be 101 who ate nothing
but bacon and cheese sandwiches and drank nothing but beer. Life is
funny.

"thick sliced" is a very loose term. What is thick? 1/4" 1/16" 1/32"
techically as long as there is something thinner, it can be considered
thick.

I like jimmy dean sausage, I guess this is just another example of
companies should stick to what they know and stop trying to branch out
into other areas.
