If something was wrong, you should provide feedback to the manager
immediately (On the spot)

IMHO, the new guy did not deserve a tip bc the check was wrong, and
twice bringing the incorrect food to the customer.

Also there may be other issues that the manager needs to resolve,
such as training of the waitstaff

You really should have talked to the manager right then and there.

It would not have gotten your server in trouble since most servers do
not make the food.

Right then and there they can inspect the food and see the quality and
... quite frankly they can see the hair that's in the food.


You *might* get a response after the fact but there's no guarantee.

If you wanted to get out of paying your bill, you should have said
something while you were there.

Gotta love the vagueness of the 'we spent ABOUT' and then you give a
$15 range. That's just dumb.

Please tell me you took the opportunity to bring these to his
attention when he corrected your bill.

I would never eat food I didn't order (twice in one visit). To me you
needed to speak up before you left.

I know a kitchen person at Red Lobster. He tells me the fish that
arrives on the trucks looks bad BEFORE it is stored and cooked. I
don't eat there.

If you simply mentioned to the manager that the food quality was poor
and that there was hair, the server would not have been in trouble as
it is not his fault that the kitchen messed up. The time to resolve
this would have been with the manager at the time of the meal. Likely
you would have received a refund on the spot.
