I had a couple gift cards I need to use from Darden. I decided to take my family out to Red Lobster. We had a new waiter, who was really nice, just didn't know what he was doing. He brought out the wrong appetizer, and they brought the wrong meal. It wasn't a big deal, we ate them anyways, because we filled up on biscuits.
The fish was undercooked, slimy inside, and the chicken was hard as rubber. The stuffed mushrooms has a strange flavor in the middle, and seemed to be stale.
So as I am eating my meal, I noticed a black hair in the food. No on in my family has black hair, so I was grossed out.
Since the guy was new, I didn't want to get him in trouble, so I quietly asked for the check so we can leave.
The check was all messed up, because the new guy charged us for another meal we didn't order, do we had to get a manager over to override the price.
The check was corrected, and we paid and left.
I would like the kitchen inspected to see why there is hair in the food.
And maybe refund me via gift card so we can all visit another Darden property. I wont be going back to that Red Lobster any time soon.
This was 12 noon May 28th 2010 at the Fort Myers, Fl Location.
And we spent about $60-75 with tip.
