Worms, Webs, and Moths! in my Raisin Brand!

Posted Wed October 20, 2010 5:02 am, by Ryan M. written to Kellogg Company

Write a Letter to this Company

I purchased a box of Kelloggs Raisin Brand about 3 hrs ago, I just opened the box, worms, webs, and moths are crawling everywhere on the inside!

I purchased this at:

2176 Shelby Street Indianapolis IN, 46203

Im not sure what actions I will be taking but I am very unhappy. My uncle is blind and he would have ate the cereal without realizing the products contaminants. This is outrageous!

They'll want to know, but the 800 numbers work better for stuff like
this. Once that's done, take the box and disgusting contents back to
Safeway and ask for a manager. That stuff had to get into the package
before it left the factory, but even so... The store will need to
pull the rest of the batch off the shelf if any is still there. If
they don't, call the Health Department and raise Cain.

Ryan,

Take it back to the Safeway where you bought it and get new product or
a refund.

It is good that you told the manufacturer but the action ( refund,
replacement, assuring stock is rotated, experation dates are adhered
to and properly handled ) will take place at store level.
