I don't know how I missed this letter back in November, it's right up my alley! When I did the March on the Capital for gay rights in early 2000, there was a group of lesbians wearing home depot shirts... only they said "homo depot"! Ha!
Great letter, and I agree with you 100%.
Remember, folks: In most states, it's completely legal to fire or evict someone simply because they are GLBT. One of the very sad things about this country.

I was about to go to Lowe's but I will now go directly to Home Depot. What exactly is the gay agenda? I bet you don't know but I bet you co-authored the idiot agenda

Your association is a considered a hate group. Grow up, step out of the sandbox, and you might see there's a whole world out there!

What exactly is the homosexual agenda? One of my best friends is a lesbian and she couldn't tell me what it was when I asked her.

Thank you for your letter. As a response I will now double my shopping at Home Depot to help make up for your hatred that would make Jesus weep. He would wonder why you were unable to understand his lessons of love, understanding, acceptance, and forgiveness to all, and chose instead to spread hate. Merry Christmas!

I, too, have been supportive of Home Depot for their refusal to kow-tow to the AFA.
Here's to hoping we see a quick repeal of DADT....and eventually a law that legalizes gay marriage nationwide.

And just what is this evil, nefarious plot you refer to as the homosexual agenda?
Oh, I think I know!
Their "agenda" is to be able to quietly and peacefully live their lives with out the threat of being assaulted or otherwise mistreated because of whom they fall in love with and to be treated fairly under the law.
How can any decent human being find fault with that?

The AFA decided that donating money to a gay pride organization meant exposing children to homosexual behavior. They made it sound like the children were being molested.
After that I'm not sure I really trust anything the AFA says, especially if they try to equate a pride event with sexually explicit material. I mean it's not like they're hosting porn events.
Another statement I found from HD was rather interesting. They stated that ... "At the end of the day here, we’re not going to forbid our associates to be involved in these pride festivals in any way.”
well I hope so. any company that told their employees "you're forbidden to go to event-whatever on your off time"... would be in for a hell of a lawsuit.
