I would like to know if it is at all possible for your company to possibily reconsider such a large amount for a secured card. I have been working really hard over the past six months to rebuild my credit and would love the opportunity to do so with Orchard Bank.
I recently received a credit card a couple of months ago with a $45.00 start up fee, and am in good standing with them, and plan to always be. I would not go through the trouble of contacting you if I was not serious about my urge and want to truly get my credit on a positive note.
As we all are learning, your credit score is one of the most important things we have anymore when it comes to quality of life, and all I as is for a chance to improve mine.

Actually you didn't contact them - you asked a third party website to
contact them. I'm sure there is an 800 number on your card - you MAY
have better luck if you contact them directly.

You don't need more credit in order to fix your past mistakes. You
just need ZERO credit. I'm with RR -- consumer debt is bad.

Amy G.,

If I were you I would do some "googling" on the topic.

Second I would visit a local credit union, lay my "crads" on the table
with regard to your history and see if they have any suggestions that
are not going to kill you with a start up fee and an outrageous annual
percentage rate.
