Wrongful terminations

A friend of mine was wrongfully terminated from Victoria Secret after working exceptionally for them for five years. She has asked for paperwork concerning this termination and has been shuffled from management to human resources but no one will get back to her. AS a former human resources manager, I find the way they fired her was unacceptable.

Provide me with the names of the head of human resources, head of victoria secret and head of limited brands, inc.

I would like some help in my situation as I was terminated by a former
manager by VS. Need some advice as I would love to return to work for
VS. Plz help

You are only hearing one side of the situation. You say she was
"exceptional"(subjective) in her position. Her superiors think
otherwise (hope there is evidence). You are a good friend, but stay
out of it.

This is none of your business.

You may support and encourage your friend, but that's all.

The issue is between your friend and her employer. No one else.

Call me crazy, but a [former] human resources manager would know that
this is a confidential personnel matter and that they're not about to
allow you to intervene on behalf of your friend, whom I assume is more
than able to investigate this on her own.

you shouldn't be getting involved. It is her employment and her fight
to take on - not yours.

Secondly, posting publicly on a website like this is not the best way
to handle a situation like this. If it turns out she was wrongly
terminated, no attorney is going to want hre (or you) posting things
about the situaiton on the Internet for anyone to read.

Your intentions, while admirable, could wind up causing more damage
than good.

And saying that you didn't want the details, but whether or not it was
justified/wrongful is pretty much just as bad.

If they fired her, of course they will say it was justified. The only
way to determine for certain if it was or wasnt is to get the WHOLE
story, which no one should really be able to except the parties
involved.

You work for VS, how often does management terminate improperly? That
alone should be your basis for understanding if this is out of line or
not.

I do not find this request unreasonable. I do not see an issue with
providing names/contact information to a third party. The OP is not
requesting anything more than details on who to contact regarding this
issue.

I really don't think they will discuss this with you, nor give you
names. It's really none of your business. You job is to support your
friend and give her a shoulder to cry on and an ear.

And they will likely assume that you only have one side of the story.
