Customer Service when order is lost

I recently visited your Tucson, AZ location with my daughter and son in law. We ordered and proceeded to a table. Thirty minutes later we noticed that other people who entered after us were getting their orders called. We went up to check on our order and they could not find it. I said that here is our receipt and reqested a refund. They gave us our money back and turned their back. No sorry or let us put a priority on your order. I have made mistakes before and have no problem owning up to it.

I would think in today's economy you would try not to chase off your customers. We have been at your store before and will return again. We will probably not go as often. This was a great opportunity for you to leave us with a positive experience by saying you forgot or lost the order slip or whatever but would get right onit and sorry for the wait. Unfortunatley we will and have talked about it with our frineds and family but it is not a positive. It is a good example of how not to handle the situation. I have no idea if this is how you handle all customer's complaints but I hope not. We will return some time in the future and hope for a better experience. It may take awhile as there are a lot of places to eat in Tucson that welcome their customers.

I don't know, it doesn't sound like you gave them an opportunity to
fill your order for you. You said you requested a refund after they
couldn't find your order.

If you walked up, showed your receipt, and said, "We'd like our money
back", that's probably the resolution that Fuddrucker's thought would
make you happy. They probably weren't going to get into a discussion
or pleading with you.

If you'd said, "We're really hungry. Is there a way we could get our
food ASAP?", they likely would have made that work for you. And comp
something.
