My home was hit by a power serge on 6/18/2011.
I called my insurance company the next morning a started a claim. I was told I'd be contacted within forty eight hours. After not getting a call in two days I called again. Sean Vogle was the agent assigned to my claim. Well I've sent Sean all the paper work he requested from repair men. I was told on the 27th. that he had all that was needed. I called Sean on 7/1/2011 and left several messages. I got no respond. I called again on 7/5/2011 and finally got Sean. He then informed me that he didn't receive an e-mail of additional paper work. I went in the history of sent e-mail and informed Sean it was sent on 6/27/2011. Sean was then able to find the e-mail he said he never received. Sean then ask me to CALL HIM today. I call and left several messages but have yet to hear from Sean. Can I just be reimbursed and have my item replaced. I pay Travelers every month but yet I cant get a return call.

Hire responsible agents who value customers and act as if they care.

A power surge protector is about 100 bucks, maybe 250 installed.

It attaches under your main fuse box.

Any surge that comes in the house is captured by the surge protector
protecting your house from power surges. Unlike a power strip this
protects your whole house.

Unfortunately very few new houses come with this, they come with fancy
tile and sponged walls but lack basic safety features.

I would advise looking into this feature.

good day
