On 8/7/11, I visited you store located at 15700 SW 88th Street, in Miami, FL. I went in because I needed to purchase an item and I had a $3.00 off coupon. What happened next has left a real bad taste in my mouth. I went to the front counter and handed Jessica, your cashier up there my item and the coupon. She scanned the item and then asked me if I had a CVS card with me. I told her no. She then tossed the coupon back at me and told me that I needed a car in order to use the coupon. I admit, this is something I totally overlooked before coming in. For that I take full responsibility. I then told her that I had received the coupon in the mail, so I or my wife must have some sort of card in the system (I found out later from my wife that indeed we do). To this Jessica tells me, "I don't know where you may have taken that coupon from or who may have given it to you". What??? Is this anyway to treat a customer? Could she have asked me for my phone number to pull up the card? Yes! She definately did not have to toss the coupon at me or give me a lecture as to where I may have "taken" it from or "received" from. As I had already told her, I got it in the mail. I then left the item I intended to buy, and left the store and purchased it at on of the two Walgreens I had passed to get to your store.
I feel that Jessica's supervisor need to teach her to speak to customers in a more professional matter. I also feel that she could have asked me for my number to pull up my card number in the system.
