Thank you for all the comments its shows just how weak minded so many people. I treat people in accordance with their behavior and the fact people think someone who is lazy and undeserving of a position only makes my point so much more. It is the leeches of this country that has destroy the fabric of our very foundation. Thank you to you all for the fact hard working people have had to sit thru the lazy co workers who just get by and put little to no effort or pride in their work. Continue to defend the stupidity of it all and when you ask yourself why our childern have no jobs pat yourself on the back. What a disapointment.

You should have went back with them to show them the price if it was that important to you. The right price is not always in the register.
When you showed them the price did you get a refund?
And it really shows the type of person you are to call people

At least you have the option of Home Depot. Here in Eau Claire, where Menard's is based, the nearest Home Depot and Lowe's is about 100 miles away. But the service at the local EC Mendard's stores is fantastic. But employees here live in constant fear that the man himself, John Menard, may walk in. There are lots of stories of him firing emmployees on the spot.

Why did you not stop right there at point of sale and walk back with the manager? Could have solved the problem immediately.

I think the "moron" comment is uncalled for, but i think the manager should have had someone check out the sign issue while you were at the check out, just to verify it either way.

A customer isn't paid to do a job and in a country where plenty of people are looking for work one should care a little more about the work they perform. I expect mistakes to happen but even the manger was useless enough to not care
